Abstract: A device for inflating an inflatable bag. The device includes a first opening which allows intake of atmospheric air, a second opening connected or connectable to the inflatable bag, at least a first moveable inflation member, preferably an impeller, being arranged between the first opening and the second opening, a motor for driving the moveable inflation member and a power source for energizing the motor. The power source includes at least one capacitor as a power supply for the motor.
Abstract: The invention relates to an inflatable bag (60) with an inflation device (20), wherein the inflation device (20) comprises a first opening (22) adapted to allow the intake of a gas and a second opening (9) connected to the inflatable bag (60). The inflation device (20) further comprises a control (6) and an actuable valve (8) with an inlet opening (13) and an outlet opening (14), wherein the actuable valve (8) is controlled by the control (6) such as to open and close the actuable valve (8). The inlet of the actuable valve (8) is connected to the inflatable bag (60) such that it, when opened, creates a fluid communication channel between the inflatable bag (60) and the outlet (14) of the actuable valve (8) such as to allow deflation of the inflatable bag (60).
Abstract: A portable device for inflating an inflatable bag (60) comprises at least one inlet (46), for forming a fluid connection to a gas source. The gas source is attached or attachable to the inlet. The device further comprises an air intake chamber (32) which has an opening allowing atmospheric air to be admitted and an outlet intended to be connected to the bag to be inflated. The gas source comprises a first and at least a different second gas component. The first component is stored at least partially in liquid form; preferably, the first component is carbon dioxide. The gas source contains at least 10%, preferably more than 30% and most preferably more than 60% of the first component. The second component is gaseous or supercritical at a temperature of 243K and up to a pressure of 200 bar, preferably, the second component has a critical temperature below 243K.

Abstract: A portable device for rapidly inflating an inflatable bag is disclosed, which comprises at least one inlet intended to be connected to a source of compressed gas, in order to allow this gas to expand into an air intake chamber, the inlet being associated with a mechanism that triggers the release of the compressed gas to the air intake chamber, the latter having an opening allowing atmospheric air to be admitted and an outlet intended to be connected to the bag that is to be inflated. The device further comprises an intermediate distribution chamber for the compressed gas, which chamber is arranged between the inlet and the air intake chamber in order to connect the one to the other, and ejection holes arranged so as to open into a lateral wall of the air intake chamber in order to connect the latter to the intermediate distribution chamber.
