Abstract: A method for operating a plurality of devices which each contain at least one electrical or gas consumer, with the following steps: before switching on the consumer, the device asks an allocation module whether the process can be started, on the basis of parameters of the requested process, parameters of currently running and/or planned processes of the other consumers and a predefined maximum power value, the allocation module decides whether the requested process is enabled, modified or at least temporarily disabled. A system having a plurality of devices which each have at least one electrical or gas consumer as well as a controller, and having an allocation module in which a maximum power value for the consumers is stored, wherein the controller of the devices can send information about planned and current processes via a communication link to the allocation module and receive an enable signal.

Abstract: A method of sensing at least one load parameter of a closed chamber by a sensing device by means of electromagnetic radiation is described, in which measurements of at least one measured variable are used. A first measurement is carried out when there is a first spatial distribution of the electric field generated by the electromagnetic radiation. At least a second measurement is carried out when there is a second spatial distribution of the electric field generated by the electromagnetic radiation, which differs from the first spatial distribution of the electric field.

Abstract: A method for determining the moisture within a cooking chamber of a cooking device has the following steps: a) an acoustic oscillation generating in a resonance chamber, b) a control unit receiving the signals picked up by a microphone in the resonance chamber, c) the control unit determining the frequency spectrum of the acoustic oscillations present in the resonance chamber on the basis of the received signals and determines the speed of sound within the cooking chamber on the basis of the frequency spectrum, d) the control unit receives receiving a temperature value; and e) the control unit determines the moisture within the cooking chamber by means of the temperature value and the speed of sound.

Abstract: A method of displaying parameters of a cooking process involves a step in which an information window is provided within an indicating window. Further, a cooking intelligence applied is temporarily displayed in the information window. A cooking appliance display device can be used for displaying various parameters and steps of a cooking process and for making these available to an operator for interaction, with an information window being provided in which a currently applied cooking intelligence is displayed.

Abstract: A grilling accessory for use in a cooking space of a cooking appliance is described, which includes two food carriers with at least one cooking area each, which contact a food at the same time. The food carriers are arranged to each other such that the respective cooking areas face each other, wherein at least one of the food carriers has openings in the respective cooking area, wherein the two food carriers are connected with each other via a connecting element comprising a joint. Abstract: An energy transfer cooking device accessory is described which includes a plastically deformed metal sheet (and a transformer-like power transfer unit which has a primary circuit and a secondary circuit. The plastically deformed metal sheet is arranged between said primary circuit and said secondary circuit. Abstract: A system for electronically monitoring scaling in an apparatus for heating and/or evaporating a liquid, comprising a container for at least temporarily receiving the liquid. The container comprises a liquid inlet, a liquid outlet and/or a vapor outlet and a heating element for evaporating liquid from the container. An evaluation unit is connected to at least one liquid level indicator and at least one flowmeter. A value relating to a desired filling volume of the container can be inputted into the evaluation unit and/or can be stored therein. The desired filling volume can be compared to a nominal liquid level in the evaluation system when water is constantly added by the flow meter, whereby the nominal liquid level is detected by the liquid level indicator, or to a nominal filled-in quantity detected by the flowmeter when the liquid flow indicator regulates the level of the filled-in liquid.
