Abstract: System for diagnosing the wheel alignment of a vehicle includes a measuring device configured to measure a characteristic parameter of the wheel alignment, wherein the measuring device comprises a wireless communication device to remotely transmit a signal related to the characteristic parameter. The system further comprises a portable remote device, distinct and separate from the measuring device, having a wireless communication device to remotely receive the signal related to the measured characteristic parameter, and a control unit adapted to receive the related signal from the wireless communication device and to carry out a step of processing the signal to derive a value of the characteristic parameter. The portable remote device further has a screen to display a characteristic information representative of the value of the characteristic parameter, and a battery connected to the wireless communication device, to the control unit and to the screen to allow their respective operation.

Abstract: An optical scanning system for measuring and/or controlling a vehicle and/or parts of a vehicle, wherein the vehicle is arranged on a support surface. The optical scanning system comprises two optical reader apparatuses, which are arranged on said support surface, on opposite sides of the vehicle, and are provided with respective optical image capturing devices configured to provide respective data/signals encoding one or more images of the vehicle, an electronic system, which is designed to process the data/signals in order to construct one or more three-dimensional images of the vehicle. The optical image reader apparatuses each comprise a calibration target, which lies on an approximately horizontal support surface and is arranged immediately adjacent to the optical image capturing device of the relative optical image reader apparatus at a predetermined distance from it.
Abstract: A vehicle lift comprising a movement system configured to be installed in a pit in the ground, a platform engaged with the movement system and movable entering to and exiting from the pit, at least one arm carried by the platform and configured for contacting a vehicle to be lifted. The arm is movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The lift comprises a stop movable relative to the platform between a grip position where it engages the arm and a release position where it disengages the arm. The lift comprises an actuator carried by the platform and active on the stop to move said stop between the grip position and the release position.
Abstract: A vehicle lift comprising a column, a carriage slidably movable along the column, a movement system associated with the at least one column and configured to displace the carriage along the column. The movement system comprises an electric motor configured to drive in rotation a rotary member having a plurality of blades configured to generate an airflow during the rotation of the rotary member.
