Abstract: Disclosed are systems and techniques that generate different sets of attributes for determining a credit worthiness score of a client. A first set of attributes is obtained from reliable data sources having information related to the client's credit score. A second set of attributes is obtained from publicly available data sources. The data is scored with respect to validity and relevancy to the potential client based on associations between the first and second set of attributes. A credit worthiness score is determined according to the first and the second set of data wherein the second set of attributes relates to characteristics of the client different from the first set of attributes.

Abstract: Technologies are generally described for systems and methods effective to create and use a unified charging system that provides instant loans in a networking environment. In an example, a loan can be provided when a payment at an online shopping site, such as an online shopping portal, is rejected due to insufficient funds. The loan can be automatic, or the loan can be provided in response to acceptance of a loan offer. In another example, pre-approved credit can be used to pay at an online shopping site when the cash and credit accounts associated with a virtual charging account have insufficient funds to complete the transaction. The payment can consist of a portion, or all of the pre-approved credit. The pre-approved credit can be granted on request, or can be automatically provided based on an analysis of open source information about the holder of the virtual charging account.

Abstract: Providing for automated network-related user authentication in conjunction with video on demand streaming media services is described herein. A network-enabled media playback device, such as a television, can be configured to initiate a network process in response to being powered-on. The network process can facilitate access to a network data store, where stored data indicative of authorization status of one or more user accounts can be obtained, and used for loading account preferences associated with a user. Where no accounts are authorized, a login and authorization message is sent to a communication account associated with the network-enabled playback device to facilitate authenticating and logging a user into the network-enabled playback device. Particular aspects provide for filtering media content based on user preferences and account profile information, and displaying a subset of preferred content, or automatically initiating playback of a selected media program for the user account.

Abstract: Disclosed are electronic systems and techniques that generate validation measures related to information obtained from publicly available data sources for providing recommendations about a potential client. Trusted search criteria are used to obtain a set of query results. These results are used to gather metadata associated with a potential client for loan offers. The validation measures are initiated from the associations and used to modify the search criteria or identifying data for searching further. A credit worthiness score related to the potential client is configured based on the validation scores and relevancy of the data. The client information is updated dynamically with continued modification of the initial search criteria in order to alter a scope and improve an accuracy of information.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically identifying end credits in a media item are disclosed. An analysis component analyzes a media item and identifies a transition point in the media item where end credits begin and a presentation component presents a prompt, such as a survey, based on the transition point. In another aspect, a monitoring component monitors at least one of content or audio of the media item. According to this aspect, the analysis component analyzes the at least one of the content or the audio, identifies a pattern of the media item associated with the end credits, and identifies the transition point as a function of the pattern. In various aspects, the pattern is associated with a streaming of text, a music soundtrack, an absence of speech, an absence object movement, or an absence of an appearance of objects included in the body of the media item.

Abstract: Disclosed are call schedule systems and techniques for establishing a phone call with one or more participants. A scheduled time can be set for the phone call and one or more messages related to joining the phone call at the scheduled time can be sent to one or more recipient devices. At the scheduled time of the phone call, a notification can be generated to determine whether to start the phone call. In this regard, one or more phone calls can be simultaneously transmitted to the one or more recipient devices in response to an action initiating the start of the phone call.

Abstract: Techniques for efficient transfer of funds between parties using personal communication devices are presented. A first user can use a first communication device to transfer funds from an account associated with the first user to a second user via a communication address associated with the second user's second communication device even if the second user is not registered with a financial service provider associated with the account of the first user. The funds can be sent from the first communication device using the Internet, mobile communication systems, or other communication technology via a message, an email, a voice mail, etc., to the second user, wherein notification of the funds can be sent to the second communication device. The first user can send funds using an account with the financial service provider or an affiliated account, and the second user can have the funds deposited into a desired account.

Abstract: Techniques for efficient transfer of funds between parties using personal communication devices are presented. A sender can use a first communication device to transfer funds from an account associated with the sender to a recipient via a communication address associated with the recipient's second communication device even if the recipient is not registered with a financial service provider associated with the account of the sender, without requiring the recipient to travel to a physical office or present a physical personal identification to obtain the funds. A transfer fund request can include the recipient's communication address, and a fund transfer message, comprising a link that facilitates retrieving the funds, can be sent to the recipient's communication address, and the recipient can be validated based on the communication address and/or a validation code. When validated, the funds can be made available to the recipient via an account of the recipient.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods are described for remotely processing paper invoices online. In an aspect, a method comprises receiving by a computing device, an electronic image representative of an invoice associated with a user of the device and a payee, sending the electronic image of the invoice to an online accounting system, wherein the online accounting system converts the electronic image of the invoice into an electronic form, accessing accounts associated with the user of the device, accessing the electronic form of the invoice, and authorizing payment of the invoice, including authorizing electronic transfer of money from at least one of the accounts to the payee. The method can further include receiving a list of payees, selecting the payee from the list of payees, and sending the selection of the payee to the online accounting system, wherein the online accounting system links the payee to the invoice.

Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and articles of manufacture that facilitate creation, editing, and sharing of video quotes. A video quote can be created based on user input. For example, the video quote can be created based on a time range selected by a user. The video quote can also include comments from the user. In order to create the video quote, the user can be authenticated and/or permissions of the user related to viewing, editing and/or sharing of the video can be verified. If permissions are verified, the user can edit the content of the video quote, for example, by changing the time range and/or including different comments. The video quote can be shared, for example, on a social network and/or via e-mail.

Abstract: Systems and methods for cost-effective phone calls and dynamic provisioning of mobile profiles within a roaming environment are presented herein. A platform component stores multiple profiles for a mobile device and can dynamically reroute incoming phone calls to another profile using a database of stored profiles and a rerouting component. The phone call is rerouted from a first identity of a mobile device that is associated with a first network, to a second identity that corresponds to the second network that the mobile device is roaming in enables the mobile subscribers to bypass the high charges associated with roaming. Furthermore, a roaming platform component can perform location updates on a mobile device, thereby updating the identity of the mobile device's SIM card to ensure that the mobile device has an identity profile that corresponds to a visited network in which the mobile device is roaming.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating online product recommendations. A plurality of data objects representative of a plurality of items for user consumption from an online merchant are stored at a computing device. A method then comprises, registering a device associated with a user with the online merchant; and in response to registering the device: associating the device with at least one other device registered with the online merchant associated with an other user in response to selection of the at least one other device by the device, monitoring a first social activity of the at least one other device, wherein the first social activity includes a first activity related to an interaction of the at least one other device with at least one of the plurality of data objects, and collecting and storing first social activity data related to the first social activity of the at least one other device.
