Abstract: A combination electronic card and wireless transceiver includes a wireless transceiver connectable to a host, and an electronic card that has a wireless transmission interface for two-way communication with the wireless transceiver wirelessly, a touch panel for operation by a user with a finger to control the cursor on the display screen of the host wirelessly, a set of operation buttons for switching control of functional selections, and a recessed chamber for accommodating the wireless transceiver when not in use.
Abstract: A mother-daughter security alarm system in which the mother unit has multiple directional antennas arranged in different directions, and a display for displaying the moving direction of the daughter unit subject to the result of a comparison procedure to compare the value of the signal received from the daughter unit through one directional antenna with the value of the signal received from the daughter unit through another directional antenna so that the user of the mother unit can search the location of the daughter unit rapidly subject to the directional indication of the display.

Abstract: A two-in-one wireless control kit is adapted to plug in a PCMCIA slot on a portable apparatus for storing and moving along with the portable apparatus and use at any time, and includes a transmitter and a receiver removably associated with each other to form one unit. The transmitter is provided at an upper side with related keys and at a lower side with at least a battery compartment for accommodating required batteries and a locating recess for receiving the receiver therein. The receiver includes a front connecting end for connecting to a related connecting port on the portable apparatus, and locating structures located at predetermined positions to removably engage the receiver with the locating recess below the transmitter, such that the associated transmitter and receiver can be plugged in the PCMCIA slot without projecting any part from the slot.

Abstract: A wireless remote controller includes a transmitter unit, which has a data storage device with an Express Card interface connectable to a main system directly for enabling the main system to store data into or fetch data from a flash memory of the data storage device, and a control device with operating buttons and a transmitting antenna, and a receiver unit, which is receivable in an open chamber of the housing of the transmitter unit when not in use and has a USB interface for connection to the main system for receiving control signals from the transmitter unit and transmitting received control signals to the connected main system.
