Abstract: A truck body includes two opposing side wall panels, a roof panel, and a floor panel, at least two joints of which are connected by hinges. A first hinge connects one of the side panels to the roof panel. A second hinge connects a second one of the side panels to the floor panel. Thus, the two sides, roof and floor may form an open-ended rectangular box when assembled, but they may lie flat when disassembled. The hinges may include one or more rotating hinges, slip hinges or other types of hinge.

Abstract: A system for use in a manufacturing process comprises a series of tables with clamping and conveying/lowering mechanisms. The tables are arranged to facilitate alignment of successive composite dry freight panels. Tables may include a plurality of transfer mechanisms, such as ball rollers, to assist an operator in moving the panels into place. Once a new panel is in place, the rollers may be pneumatically or mechanically lowered to form a new joint. A clamping mechanism can be used to secure the new joint with adhesive.
Abstract: A modular truck body. The modular truck body includes a floor assembly, a first storage assembly removably connected to the floor assembly, a second storage assembly removably connected to the floor assembly, and a bulkhead removably connected to the first and second storage assemblies.
Abstract: A hinge, such as a truck body door hinge, includes a first mounting member, a second mounting member, a first connecting member that is pivotably connected to the first and second mounting members, and a second connecting member that is also pivotably connected to the first and second mounting members. The first and second connecting members are pivotally connected to each other at an axial position.
