  • Patent number: 8888399
Abstract: The invention relates to a restraint system for vehicles in the region of roads, which is combined with substantially panel-shaped screening and/or noise protection elements (1), wherein deflecting elements (2), which are made of concrete for example, are connected to supports (4) via connecting webs (3), and the screening and/or noise protection elements (1) are held between the lateral surfaces which extend in the longitudinal direction of the deflecting elements (2) and which face the screening and/or noise protection elements (1) and the lateral surfaces of the supports (4) which face the screening and/or noise protection elements (1). The screening and/or noise protection elements (1) are provided at their lower edge with open slots (6, 6?) in which the connecting webs (3, 3?) of the deflecting elements (2) engage.

  • Patent number: 8388257
Abstract: A connecting system (2) for connecting separating elements (1) for traffic areas has two connecting elements (3), each with two juxtaposed legs (5, 6). In each case, one leg (5) of a connecting element (3) is held between the legs (5, 6) of the other connecting element (3) in a positive-locking manner, as a leg (5) of the one connecting element (3) held between the legs (5, 6) of the other connecting element (3) has projections (9, 10) on both sides, which engage behind projections (9, 10, 11) disposed on the legs (5, 6) of the other connecting element (3). The legs (5, 6) of the two connecting elements (3) interlock with their projections (9, 10, 11) in hook form. In this way, the legs (5, 6) are not pushed apart when there is a tensile force acting on the connecting elements (3), but instead are held together or pushed towards one another.

Abstract: A separating element for traffic surfaces, which is preferably made of concrete, has at least one connecting element (5, 6) on each opposite end face (4), via which connecting element the separating element can be connected to an adjacent separating element (1, 20). At least one projection (41, 43) is arranged on one end face (4) and at least one recess (42,44) is arranged on the other end face, wherein a projection (41, 43) is inserted into a recess (42, 44) of an adjacent separating element (1, 20) in order to transmit forces acting in the plane of the end face (4) from one separating element (1, 20) to the adjacent separating element (1, 20).
