Abstract: The disclosure provides a method for forming a core layer for a plurality of information carrying cards, a resulting core layer, and a resulting information carrying card. A first portion of a crosslinkable polymer composition is dispensed onto the first thermoplastic layer. A second thermoplastic layer having a plurality of through-holes therein is then applied. A second portion of the crosslinkable polymer composition is dispensed into each through-hole. An inlay layer is placed over the polymer composition inside each through-hole. A third portion of the crosslinkable polymer composition is dispensed over each inlay layer. A third thermoplastic layer or a release film is placed over the third portion of the crosslinkable polymer composition to provide a layered structure. Each respective inlay layer is configured to be movable and/or self-center inside each through-hole in the presence of the crosslinkable polymer composition when the layered structure is pressed on a pressure.
Abstract: A tire pressure monitoring system wake-up device is electrically connected to multiple tire pressure sensors and mutually transmits signals. The wake-up device includes an antenna unit, a main control board unit, a power supply unit, a radio frequency switch unit, and a database unit. After the antenna unit receives a signal which is then sent to the receiving module of the radio frequency switch unit. The receiving module processes and computes the received signal, it indirectly sends it to the database unit for comparison via the transmitting module. When the signal sent by the transmitting module matches the data range within the database unit, the main control board unit sends the comparison result back to the antenna unit. Upon receiving the returned signal, the antenna unit activates or does not activate each tire pressure sensor to detect and operate on each tire based on the content of the signal.
Abstract: A flexible hybrid system is provided. The flexible hybrid system includes a first power source and a gearbox. The gearbox is removably coupled with the first power source. The gearbox includes a flange with a first interface, the first power source removably coupled with the first interface; a housing coupled with the flange, the housing comprising a second interface; and a clutch system disposed at least partially in the housing, the clutch system comprising a first clutch mechanism and a second clutch mechanism. The flexible hybrid system includes a second power source. The second power source is removably coupled with the second interface, wherein the first clutch mechanism is configured to selectively engage the first power source to provide power to the flexible hybrid system; and the second clutch mechanism is configured to selectively engage the second power source to provide power to the flexible hybrid system.
Abstract: The work machine system comprises a tractor unit releasably connectable to interchangeable trailer units by a coupling. When a trailer unit is coupled to the tractor unit a work machine is formed for performing work functions. The tractor unit may not be capable of movement between trailer units when uncoupled, for example because it comprises only one pair of wheels rotating about a single axis and as such would tip over without support. The alignment system comprises a platform for supporting and holding the tractor unit thereon and a platform transport system to move the platform relative to the trailer units. Therefore, alignment for coupling between the tractor and trailer units can be achieved.
Abstract: An actuation device for a hydraulically operating brake system may include: a master cylinder in a housing and having at least one piston, to which a force can be applied by, e.g., a brake pedal; pressure supply device(s), at least one of which is a piston pump or double stroke piston pump having a piston and driven by an electromotive drive, the drive moving the piston directly or via a step-up gear; at least one valve assembly with magnetic valves; and at least one electronic control and regulating unit. The brake system has at least two hydraulic circuits, and a pressure change can be carried out in at least one wheel brake via the pressure supply device(s). A first housing or module, hydraulically connected to the housing, may contain the valve assembly and the at least one piston and pressure chamber of at least one of the pressure supply devices.

Abstract: Methods and systems for operating a vehicle include prompting a large language model LLM to generate parameters for a rule-based planner based on historical data for vehicles in a road scene. A trajectory is generated using the parameters. A driving action is performed to implement the trajectory.

Abstract: The Intelligent Information Conversion System (IICS) facilitates real-time dynamic information exchange among connected and automated vehicle (CAV), roadside intelligent unit (RIU), and cloud platform. The system comprises a codebook, coding module, connector module, and supporting system. The codebook provides a standardized format for information exchange, using a sequence of integers corresponding to various categories such as vehicle automation level, vehicle type, and road category. The coding module encodes and decodes information to enable seamless communication among CAV, RIU, and cloud platform, optimizing data transmission and service levels for autonomous driving. The system supports sorting, encoding, and decoding information into a codebook string, improving real-time interaction and information flow across connected environments. It enhances vehicle automation and supports dynamic, context sensitive data exchanges between different entities in the autonomous ecosystem.

Abstract: A strapping device including a tensioner operable to apply a strap tension to a loop of wrapping strap, a friction welder operable to produce a friction weld connection at two areas of the loop of wrapping strap disposed one on top of the other, a motor operable in a first rotational direction to drive the tensioner and in a second opposite rotational direction to drive the friction welder, and a control device. Abstract: A method of operating a filtration system including a hybrid filter assembly is provided. The method includes the steps of providing a pump that is in fluid communication with a pool or a spa, providing a hybrid filter assembly including a filtration module, providing a chemical cleaning system including a container configured to retain a chemical cleaning agent in which the container is in fluid communication with the hybrid filter assembly, and providing a controller in communication with the hybrid filter assembly and the chemical cleaning system. The method also includes the steps of determining via the controller an operational efficiency of the filtration module at a predetermined interval of time and initiating via the controller a chemical cleaning mode to clean the hybrid filter assembly.

Abstract: Provided are humanized anti-HLA-A2 antibodies. In certain aspects, the humanized anti-HLA-A2 antibodies are capable of constituting an antigen binding domain of a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR), where the CAR is capable of being expressed in a human cell such that the CAR specifically binds to HLA-A2. Also provided are CARs that include the humanized anti-HLA-A2 antibodies. Modified cells including the antibodies and CARs, as well as methods of using such modified cells are also provided.
