Abstract: The present invention relates to a candle which includes a base unit and a candle body which is mounted to the base unit. The candle body includes a wick and a fibre optic running therethrough. The base unit includes a light sensor configured to detect light from the wick, when lit. There is additionally provided a light source configured to operate in dependence on detection of light by the light sensor.

Abstract: An automatic dispensing device for dispensing a volatile substance, the device comprising: a fan configured to generate airflow and dispense the volatile substance from the device; a drive apparatus having at least one electromagnetic coil connectable to a drive circuit; wherein the fan comprises at least one magnet located along an arc of the fan and the electromagnetic coil is configured to attract or repel the at least one magnet; wherein the drive circuit is configured to switch the current direction in the electromagnetic coil to sequentially attract and then repel the at least one magnet as the fan rotates.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an insect control composition comprising geraniol, at least 0.005 wt. % of pyrethrum, based on the total weight of the composition, optionally at least one active selected from the group consisting of p-Menthane-3,8-diol, peppermint oil, thymol, eucalyptus oil, citronella oil, basil oil, citral, lemongrass oil, and combinations thereof, and a solvent; wherein the weight ratio between the geraniol to the pyrethrum and optionally the at least one active is between 0.25:1 and 50:1. The invention further relates to an insect control product comprising said insect control composition and an emanation device. The invention also relates to a use of said insect control composition or said insect control product to kill, knockdown and/or repel insects.
