Abstract: An apparatus for reclaiming abrasive blasting material comprises a prime mover, a vacuum pump and a separator unit for separating the abrasive blasting material in the contaminated abrasive blasting material from contaminants. The vacuum pick-up draws the contaminated abrasive blasting material. The separator unit includes a screening device for separating and reclaiming the abrasive blasting material. The screening device comprises a support member having a longitudinal axis and a transverse axis, and an endless flexible screen belt mounted to the support member so as to be movable along an endless closed loop in the direction of the longitudinal axis. The screen belt has a plurality of openings being sized to allow particles of the abrasive blasting material of a desired size to fall therethrough by gravity and to prevent the contaminants larger than the abrasive blasting material from falling therethrough.

Abstract: A modular abrasive particle blasting system comprises an abrasive blast assembly including at least one blast vessel for delivering blast particles to an abrasive blasting system. The abrasive blast assembly is mounted within a first skid. An abrasive recycling assembly includes at least one vacuum hopper for receiving grit retrieved from an abrasive blasting process. The abrasive recycling assembly is mounted within a second skid. The first and second skids comprise mounting members at a top section and a bottom section of each of the first and second skids to permit mounting of the first and second skids in alternate stacked arrangements whereby the first skid is selective mounted above and below the second skid. The same skid principal may be used to provide a variety of skids, including blast skid, vacuum skid, recycle skid, storage skid, air dryer skid, dust collector skid and or dehumidification skid.

Abstract: An abrasive blasting apparatus comprises a blast pot, a blast media valve fluidly connected to said blast media outlet of the blast pot, a source of pressurized gas, a proportional air valve in fluid communication with the blast media valve and the source of pressurized air, a hose having a blast nozzle at a distal end thereof, and a main control unit fluidly connected to the blast media valve and the air valve. The blast media valve comprises a housing having a blasting media intake, a plunger disposed within the housing, a sleeve disposed between the housing and the plunger, a blast media port in the sleeve, a casing fixedly connected to the housing, a piston disposed within the casing and connected to the plunger, and a base member fixedly connected to the housing. The plunger is movable by the piston with respect to the blast media port.
