    Abstract: Two rod portions (30, 31) are integral with a piston (3) which can slide in a cylinder (1) when a cone-point screw device (8) is partially open, the result of which is a translatory motion downward, of adjustable speed, of the load hooked to the cylinder by a shackle (21). The speed of translation can be controlled in such a way that the load is lowered onto its location very gently and without jolting.
