Patent number: 10607727Abstract: Various embodiments automatically generate a patient presence for a patient portal. In one embodiment, a secure communication is received from at least one electronic health management system. The secure communication comprises at least patient identifying information associated with a given individual. A set of user profiles associated with the patient portal is analyzed based on the patient identifying information. A determination is made, based on the analyzing, that the given individual fails to include an account with the patient portal. The given individual is automatically registered with the patient portal based on the determination. A communication is automatically sent to at least one of the electronic health management system and the given individual, and includes at least the login identifier, the password. The communication notifies the at least one of the electronic health management system and the given individual that the given individual has been automatically registered with the portal.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 2014Date of Patent: March 31, 2020Assignee: Access My Records, Inc.Inventors: Leonard J. Patent number: 7068795Abstract: Apparatus and method for allowing an operator of a transit vehicle to make public address announcements to passengers internal and external to the vehicle. The safety of the vehicle and passengers is maintained through providing a hands-free directional microphone having noise canceling characteristics. The microphone is used as an input device for receiving an audio signal and provides the signal to a processing module that converts the signal into a digital signal. The digital signal is then processed by a digital signal processor to cancel undesirable noise common to a transit vehicle. The noiseless signal can then be converted into an analog signal and recorded within the memory of the public address system where, upon needed, the signal can be transferred to an output device such as a speaker system internal or external to the vehicle. After playback, the recorded message can also be easily repeated by means of a repeat switch.Type: GrantFiled: April 16, 2003Date of Patent: June 27, 2006Assignee: Digital Recorders, Inc.Inventors: James D. Kennedy, John R. Rowlette, Jr.

Patent number: 5114024Abstract: A modular storage system permits access to elevated shelves. A plurality of multishelved racks are movable together and apart on rollers or wheels in a room. Each rack includes a number of shelf stacks. Side-by-side stacks are interconnected so that the rack extends in a direction perpendicular to its direction of movement. Supported by wall of the room are plural catwalks which pass between adjacent shelves of each stack in each rack. The catwalks permit a person standing thereon to gain access to shelves above the catwalk. Selected racks may include facilities for supporting the catwalks without hindering rack movement.Type: GrantFiled: September 7, 1990Date of Patent: May 19, 1992Assignee: Vital Records IncInventor: Ernest H. Patent number: 4963866Abstract: A multi-channel digital random access recorder-player receives an analog audio signal, converts the audio signal into a digital signal, and stores the digital signal in a memory for random access. The memory includes sixteen channels, each channel having sixteen memory boards, each channel and each memory board being assigned a unique four bit binary address by an address counter. An external control is provided by which the user selects an address for recording or playback and a comparator compares the selected address with the addresses of the memory. When the memory address corresponding to the selected address is detected, that memory board is enabled so that data can be recorded on the memory board or retrieved from the memory board for playback through an audio output device such as a loudspeaker. The recorder-player thereby provides random access to a memory. Also provided is a system in which several modules, each with a logic board and a memory, are combined into a single system.Type: GrantFiled: March 27, 1989Date of Patent: October 16, 1990Assignee: Digital Recorders, Inc.Inventor: Virgil D. Patent number: 4772873Abstract: The invention is a digital record/playback apparatus including an input digital filter, and A/D converter, a solid state memory, a D/A converter and an output digital filter. The entire system is driven off a single clock source which allows the frequent response of the filters to be modified simultaneous with the sampling frequency of the A/D and D/A converter. This allows the record/playback apparatus to record low frequency signals, such as medical data, as well as relatively high frequency signals such as voice, by simply changing the frequency of the clock source. In addition, the apparatus includes an expandable memory which allows recording of up to one hour or more of program material.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 1985Date of Patent: September 20, 1988Assignee: Digital Recorders, Inc.Inventor: Virgil D. Duncan
