  • Patent number: 10142538
Abstract: A focusing device for a camera having a lens includes a LIDAR module, a camera interface and a controller communicably coupled to the LIDAR module and the camera interface. The controller receives data from the LIDAR module, displays one or more targets using the data from the LIDAR module via a user interface, receives a target selection via the user interface, determines a focus setting using the LIDAR data, the target selection and a camera operational data, and sends the focus setting to the camera interface. The camera interface receives the focus setting and drives the lens of the camera to focus on the target selection using the focus setting.

  • Patent number: 9772164
Abstract: An imaging device has an optoelectronic detector, a beam splitter, a field lens, a mirror, a control circuit, a memory and a power source disposed within a housing. The housing is configured to be mounted in an optical path of a scope. The optoelectronic detector is mounted outside of the optical path of the scope. The beam splitter is mounted in line with the optical path of the scope. The field lens is mounted in line with a reflected optical path of the beam splitter. The mirror is mounted such that the reflected optical path of the beam splitter from the field lens is reflected to the optoelectronic detector. The control circuit is connected to the optoelectronic detector. The memory is connected to the control circuit. A user interface is mounted on the housing and connected to the control circuit. The power source is connected to the control circuit.

  • Patent number: 9163776
Abstract: A motorized dolly includes an elongated frame, a first and second arc-shaped rail, a first and second pulley, a continuous belt, a motor, a platform, a first and second set of rollers or wheels, a fastener and one or more controls. The first arc-shaped rail has a first radius to a point in space. The second arc-shaped rail has a second radius greater than the first radius. The first and second pulleys are attached to the elongated frame proximate to each end. The continuous belt is moveably attached to the first pulley and the second pulley. The motor is operably engaged with the first pulley, the second pulley or the continuous belt. The first and second set of rollers or wheels are attached to the platform and moveably engaged with the first and second rails, respectively. The fastener securely is attached to the platform and the continuous belt.

  • Patent number: 7720368
Abstract: The present invention provides a system, method and apparatus for enhancing a projected image to reduce the optical depth of field, and create a more desirable film-like image. The present invention provides a multi-function imaging element for enhancing a projected image that includes a focusing screen that minimizes light hot spots in an image projected on the focusing screen and filters ultraviolet rays. The focusing screen can be static, moving, oscillating or rotating. The ultraviolet rays are filtered using a coating on the focusing screen, or by a separate filter made of glass, plastic or film. Note that the multi-function imaging element can be integrated into an adapter, a camera, a video camera, a projector, a television, a monitor, or other image capture or display device.
