Patents Assigned to Regal-Beloit Corporation
  • Patent number: 7077708
Abstract: A connector assembly configured to engage a motor connector having a plurality of contacts is described. The connector assembly includes a plurality of receptacle terminals and first and second housing portions each having channels formed therein for insertion of the receptacle. The channels include an end further including a slot formed therein where the channels are configured to engage respective sides of the receptacle terminals along their longitudinal axis. The slots define a rectangular opening for insertion of a respective tab terminal into each respective receptacle terminal. Each receptacle terminal includes a wire insulation engaging segment, a wire engaging segment, and a receptacle portion.

  • Patent number: 7037203
Abstract: An adapter device is disclosed for adapting a drive of a worm gear to rotate an output shaft. The adapter device includes a sleeve having an inside diameter which is slightly greater than an outside diameter of the output shaft. The sleeve has an outer diameter which is slightly less than an inner diameter of the drive of the worm gear. An elongate key cooperates with a longitudinal slot defined by the output shaft and an aligned channel defined by the sleeve and an aligned groove defined by the drive of the worm gear. The sleeve is disposed between the output shaft and the drive of the worm gear, the sleeve, the output shaft and the drive of the worm gear being coaxial relative to each other. The arrangement is such that when the drive of the worm gear rotates, the key interacts with the aligned groove of the drive of the worm gear, the channel of the sleeve and the longitudinal slot of the output shaft for rotating the output shaft.

  • Patent number: 5476164
Abstract: A solenoid operated actuator mechanism for positioning a shift fork in a double clutch arrangement for use in a transmission includes a pair of solenoid actuators operatively connected to a shaft that is fixed to the shift fork for positioning the shift fork in a neutral position when the solenoid actuators are de-energized and for positioning the shaft and shift fork selectively in a forward or reverse location if one or the other of the solenoids are energized. The invention includes a first embodiment where the shaft is fixed to the shift fork and to one end of a solenoid core element and wherein the forward and reverse solenoid assemblies are located on one side of the shaft; a second embodiment includes a shaft having end portions forming solenoid core elements.

  • Patent number: 5333380
Abstract: A shaft-mounted bushing for connecting a rotating member to a shaft. The bushing includes a frame receiving a hub rotatably mounted therein. The hub includes an opening at one end thereof for receiving a shaft from the one end thereof. The hub includes a tapered portion which converges inwardly from the one end of the hub and toward the other end thereof. A sleeve is mounted into the hub from the one end of the hub and between the tapered portion of the hub and the cylindrical shaft. The outer portion of the sleeve converges inwardly from the one end of the hub and engages the hub. The sleeve presents an inward portion which is coaxial with and parallel to the cylindrical shaft for engaging the shaft in force transmitting relation ship therewith. The bushing assembly is completed by drawing the sleeve into the hub by way of a fastener located at the other end of the hub.
