Patent number: 6516989Abstract: An improved magazine assembly for stapling guns includes a magazine housing, a housing cover, and an elastic follow member. The magazine housing has two plate surfaces. At one plate surface there is provided a series of track blocks along the length of the magazine housing. A nail exit is formed at the magazine housing near the machine head. A vertical slot is formed in the magazine housing parallel to the track blocks. The elastic follow member is installed within the magazine housing and includes a push plate and a spring connected to the push plate. The push plate lies against the track blocks and displaces along their surface, and further extends through the vertical slot to the other plate surface of the magazine housing to form a bent trigger plate. The trigger plate has a hook that hooks one end of the spring. The other end of the spring is secured at the bottom end of the magazine housing. The housing cover is transparent and is disposed on the magazine housing where the track blocks are provided.Type: GrantFiled: November 12, 1997Date of Patent: February 11, 2003Assignee: Regitar Power Tools Co., Ltd.Inventor: Pel Chang Sun

Patent number: 5004054Abstract: This invention relates to an electric drill with speed and torque control and in particular to one which utilizes a single adjuster ring to control output speed and torque. When the adjuster ring is turned, the transmission axle will engage with another gear thereby changing the output speed. Further, in the meantime, the force exerted on the driven gear will be changed to adjust the output torque. The clutch and the driven gear are engaged by means of steel balls received in the recesses thereof.Type: GrantFiled: July 2, 1990Date of Patent: April 2, 1991Assignee: Regitar Power Tools Co., Ltd.Inventor: Dony Sheen

Patent number: 4953774Abstract: This invention relates to an electric stapling gun with auto-reset, energy-saving and shock-absorbing functions and in particular to one utilizing a lobe of a cam to press a second link rod to turn on a micro-switch once again so as to avoid the dead point of a prior art stapling gun. Further, a spring with different pitches at both ends is used to reduce the work required for producing same momentum on a staple in comparison with the prior art thereby saving energy. In addition, the stapling gun is provided a metallic protective ferrule for keeping the housing of the stapling gun from being damaged.Type: GrantFiled: April 26, 1989Date of Patent: September 4, 1990Assignee: Regitar Power Tools Co., Ltd.Inventor: Motor Lai
