    Abstract: The invention concerns an installation for producing a spunbonded fabric web comprising a diffuser defining for the drawn filaments a passage with diverging cross-section, and mounted a certain distance from the slot attenuator, and a conveyor receiving the filaments coming out of the diffuser. The uniformity of the web is enhanced by means of a device separating the filaments from each other by electrostatic process mounted at a higher level higher than the bottom of the passage.
