  • Patent number: 12361044
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable media for identifying entities as legal entities are provided. These techniques may include accessing a corpus of documents and applying a persona prediction machine learning algorithm to classify entities associated with the corpus of documents. The persona prediction machine learning algorithm may include two layers. A first layer includes applying a signature block classifier that analyzes signature blocks of the entities. A second layer includes applying an entity classifier that analyzes a plurality of documents and/or network graphs associated with the entities. An entity database is updated to indicate the output of the persona prediction machine learning algorithm based on the signature block classifier and/or the entity classifier.

  • Patent number: 12339893
Abstract: Systems and methods related to maintaining a random sample of documents that is representative of a pool of documents are provided. As documents are ingested into the pool of documents, a random number may be assigned to the documents. The documents may then be sorted into an ordered list. As the documents in the pool are provided to a review platform for manual review, the documents may be included in a review queue based at least in part on the ordered list. As additional documents are added to the pool of documents, the new documents are interleaved into the ordered list to maintain the random and representative nature of the random sample.

  • Patent number: 12265472
Abstract: Systems and methods for object-based data storage are provided. A queue may be maintained of operations relating to a plurality of documents operable to be maintained at an object-based data storage. An independent operation may be identified in the queue that must be processed prior to processing at least one dependent operation to thereby enable parallelization of processing of operations in the queue. The identified independent operation may then be processed. Subsequently, the dependent operations may be processed.

  • Patent number: 12254058
Abstract: Systems and methods for contextual highlighting and redaction of documents are provided. Upon receiving highlighting data corresponding to a document, a client device may evaluate the highlighting data to generate a highlighting model, which may be stored in a cache of the client device. In response to an event, the highlighting model may be retrieved from the cache, and analyzed to determine a highlighting portion of a document model. A rendering of the document model including highlighting in the highlighted portion of the document model may then be displayed.

  • Patent number: 11580291
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for resolving date ambiguities in electronic communication documents includes identifying, within the documents, date field values each associated with a different instance of a communication segment. The method also includes resolving a candidate date for each different communication segment instance, with each candidate date being associated with a respective priority level indicative of a level of certainty with which the candidate date was resolved, and determining a final date from among the candidate dates at least by comparing the respective priority levels. The method further includes determining, based on the final date, an ordered relationship between the electronic communication documents, and storing metadata indicating the ordered relationship between the electronic communication documents.

  • Patent number: 11516166
Abstract: In a computer-implemented method for facilitating recognition of header fields in electronic communication documents, header definition data and an electronic communication document are received. The header definition data defines one or more characteristics of a first header format, wherein the one or more characteristics include one or both of (i) keywords or partial keywords, and (ii) positions, corresponding to one or more header fields. Text-based content of the electronic communication document includes conversation segments, which include one or more headers. Using the header definition data, values of header fields of at least one of the plurality of conversation segments are determined. Using the determined values, an ordered relationship between the electronic communication document and one or more other electronic communication documents is determined.
