    Abstract: One embodiment of a disclosed system, method, and computer readable storage medium which includes an algorithm for generating a vector graphic based on a raster graphic input. A tablet scribe system identifies a boundary of a raster graphic image. The boundary is comprised of contrasting pixels in the raster graphic. The system determines a slope for each line segment of the raster graphic boundary. Based on a comparison of the slope for the adjacent line segments, the system generates a contour replaces line segments with equivalent slopes wherein each line segments represents a point on the contour. The system condenses the contour by removing redundant points on the contour based on their position relative to neighboring points and converts the edges of one or more remaining line segments into continuous curves on the contour.

In an active state, the system detects a period of inactivity based on a frequency of gesture inputs to the contact-sensitive surface of the device. In response to detecting the period of inactivity, the device transitions into an idle state with reduced power consumption by electronic components of the device. The device records an amount of time that the device has spent in the idle state transitions into a regularized suspend state where power consumption by electronic components of the device is reduced from the consumption in the idle state to detect one or more activation trigger conditions. In the regularized suspended state, the device presents a persistent display comprising a graphic generated in response to a most recent set of user inputs the device.

    Abstract: A tightening structure of a musical instrument stand includes stationary or immovable member and a movable member. The movable member includes a cylindrical shaft extending outward in an axial direction. One side of the immovable member has a recess. A bottom of the recess forms a semi-circular arc with a radius of curvature corresponding to that of the shaft. When the shaft is inserted into the recess it abuts against the bottom of the recess. The immovable member has a screw hole communicating with the recess. The screw hole is perpendicular to the axial direction of the cylindrical shaft. A fastening bolt is screwed into the screw hole. One end of the first fastening bolt is inserted into the recess and has a flared end portion to press against the shaft, and another end is connected with a handle. By rotating the handle, the flared end portion is drawn against the shaft, thereby rendering the movable member stationary.
