  • Patent number: 8624166
Abstract: A system for support and securement of a thermal heating panel of a carousel oven upper a rotational axle includes a flat upper receiver formed of several diametric strips. The upper receiver is proportioned for complemental receipt of the heating panel. At, or integrally secured to, the bottom of the upper receiver, and situated polarly symmetrically about the axle, is a cradle proportioned for complemental fit upon a male drive shaft at an uppermost end of the axle. Due to the weight of the heating panel and its slow rate of rotation within the carousel oven, the force of gravity of the heating panel is sufficient to maintain the upper receiver and its cradle upon the male drive plate even in the absence of positive securement between the elements. Alternatively, the heating panel is entirely replaced by a grill-like surface, secured above or below the diametric strips to permit the grilling of types of meat or food other than those typically cooked upon the thermal plate panel.

  • Publication number: 20130055868
Abstract: A slicer comprising a power base and a removable food support assembly. The food support assembly comprises a support base, a product tray, product tray slides, a bearing assembly, an adjustable plate, a gauge plate adjuster, and a blade. The power base comprises individual supports, a switch unit, a power cable, and a drive motor assembly having a blade drive coupling system. After setting the adjustable plate to the desired thickness using the gauge plate adjuster, the user switches the switch unit to the “on” position to initiate the drive motor assembly, which rotates the blade drive coupling system and, in turn, causes the blade to turn and slice the food product. Once the food product has been sliced, the removable food support assembly is removed from the power base and immersed in water or inserted into a dishwasher for faster, safer, more efficient, and more sanitary cleaning.

  • Patent number: 6405640
Abstract: A roasting oven system includes elongate food holding wire mesh baskets, each having an axis of rotation defined by a left and right axial device secured to respective end walls of the baskets. The system also includes a housing having respective upper, lower, front, back, left end, and right end walls defining, in combination, a hollow interior envelope having a substantially concave upper surface, the housing including, within at least one of the front or rear walls, a movable panel for selectably removing and inserting the elongate baskets into the housing and upon a journal device within end plates at each opposite end wall. At least one of the front or rear walls further includes a narrow opening to provide a continuous and uninterrupted communication between the hollow interior envelope and the atmosphere. An infrared radiation element is situated within the envelope of housing, in which thereof is directed toward a center of the interior envelope of the oven.

  • Patent number: 5560285
Abstract: A roasting oven including upper, lower, front, and rear walls and left and right end walls defining, in combination, a hollow envelope having a substantially curved upper surface, the housing including, within at least one of the front and rear walls, an opening for inserting and removing meats to be roasted to, in a normal state of operation, provide a continuously uninterrupted fluid communication between an oven interior defined by the walls, the envelope and the atmosphere; at least one infrared radiation element situated within said envelope of the oven housing, the element facing the oven interior to enable infrared radiation transmitted into the envelope to be reflected about the oven interior, the substantially curved upper surface of the envelope of the housing containing heated air to, in combination with directed radiated energy from the infrared element and reflected radiation therefrom, create sufficient oven temperatures within the substantially curved upper surface of the oven housing to accomp
