Patents Assigned to Remotec Technology Limited
  • Patent number: 12272233
Abstract: Apparatus and method for determining the validity of an infrared signal of a remote-control device. An infrared signal comprising pulses representing data corresponding to a function of a controllable target device is received from a remote-control device. The received infrared signal is passed through a capacitor of the apparatus such that, for each pulse of the infrared signal, the capacitor is charged and subsequently discharged. The capacitor discharge time associated with each pulse of the infrared signal is measured by a processor of the apparatus to establish a discharge sequence. The processor of the apparatus compares the established discharge sequence with a plurality of pre-determined valid discharge patterns and determine the validity of the received infrared signal based on the outcome of the comparison of the established discharge sequence with the plurality of pre-determined discharge patterns.

  • Patent number: 10101771
Abstract: The system, method and device for enabling remote-control of consumer electronic devices is disclosed. The system may comprise a docking station. The docking station may comprise an infrared receiving module and Micro-controller unit (MCU). The pre-processor of the infrared receiving module or the processor of the MCU may demodulate the one or more input control signals received from an input control device or a first communication device respectively. The pre-processor or the processor may modulate the one or more input control signals demodulated to obtain one or more modulated control signals. Further, the processor may retrieve one or more infrared codes from a preconfigured database based upon the one or more modulated control signals. The processor may transmit the one or more infrared codes to one or more consumer electronics device in order to remotely control the one or more consumer electronic devices.

  • Patent number: 9892634
Abstract: The system, method and device for enabling remote-control of consumer electronic devices is disclosed. The system may comprise, a first communication device, a second communication device wherein the second communication device is communicatively coupled with the first communication device. The second communication device is capable of receiving one or more input control signals from the first communication device. The system further comprises, a docking station electronically coupled with the second communication device. The processor may perform demodulating and modulating of the one or more input control signals received by the second communication device from the first communication device. The processor may retrieve one or more infrared codes from a preconfigured database based upon the one or more modulated control signals and transmitting the one or more infrared codes to one or more consumer electronics device in order to remotely control the one or more consumer electronics.
