Patents Assigned to Renk Tacke GmbH
  • Patent number: 5141350
Abstract: A pressurized drive coupling includes a socket joined to an end of one shaft in a drive system and a stem extending from an end of another shaft. The stem is insertable into a cavity formed in the socket and the stem and cavity have mating noncircular transverse cross-sections. A sleeve is seated around the socket. The sleeve includes a rigid outer section and a deformable inner section which is in contact with the socket. A pressure chamber is formed between the sections of the sleeve and the pressure chamber is filled with a suitable fluid which is pressurized to reduce the dimensions of the cavity and eliminate clearance between the stem and cavity.

  • Patent number: 5092800
Abstract: A transmission mounting system includes a plurality of adjustable support units which are positioned between a transmission and supporting or reference surfaces. Each support unit includes a relatively yieldable elastic bearing and an extensible-retractible spacing link arranged in tandem. Signals indicative of the distance between transmission and the support surface are generated by a sensor and received by a control unit. The control unit effects dimension changes in the spacing link which compensate for deformation of the elastic bearing.

  • Patent number: 5088969
Abstract: A bifurcated transmission drive includes one input shaft and at least two output shafts. The input shaft drives a planetary differential gear having two output elements. One output element drives one output shaft through a first gear train while the other output element drives the other output shaft through a second gear train. The first gear train and the second gear train are coupled through an interconnecting third gear train. As a result, the two output shafts will rotate at the same speed and with the same torque independent of the loads on the output shafts.

  • Patent number: 4838830
Abstract: A flexible coupling in which two collars are connected with each other through two pairs of coupling rods which are offset from each other angularly by 90.degree., the two pairs lying in parallel planes. The coupling rods are connected through torsion layers to coupling arms which are articulated to each other. One of the coupling rods or coupling arms are connected to their respective collars while the other of the coupling rods or coupling arms are connected to an intermediate member located between the two collars.

  • Patent number: 4753130
Abstract: A versatile transmission, particularly a test stand transmission, in which internally and/or externally toothed conversion elements can be inserted from the outside to transmit torque from gears driven by one or more input shafts to one or more output shafts.
