Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method and a system for processing user contact information. Specifically, there is provided a method for processing user contact information, comprising: obtaining, at a user equipment of a first user, contact information associated with a second user; and initiating a social networking service (SNS) operation between the first user and the second user based on the contact information. Corresponding system is also disclosed. According to embodiments of the present invention, user contact information may be processed in a more effective and intelligent way.
