Abstract: The present invention concerns the high speed packaging of folded paper articles such as tissues, napkins and the like, and more precisely it concerns an apparatus for continuously feeding such articles, arranged in stacked groups(P, P1) coming from folding machines, towards packaging machines, for example with a rotating drum, arranged downstream.

Abstract: An apparatus for packaging stacks of folded tissue products or the like with blanks of plastic film, having at least one pocket, an insertion device for inserting, along an insertion direction, a single stack in the at least one pocket with the interposition and consequent folding of a corresponding blank, the at least one pocket being operatively associated with a stop member of the stack completely inserted within the pocket. The apparatus also has a control system adapted to operate the stop member in a coordinated manner with respect to the operation of the insertion device, to provide an abutment to the stack during the whole insertion step in the pocket, the stop member having suction devices to keep the film in position and to disengage the same film at least in an extraction step of the stack from the pocket.

Abstract: An apparatus for feeding tissues or similar folded paper articles towards an automatic packaging system, comprises means for forming stacks of articles with one or more sets of separating wheels, and means for radially ejecting and feeding the stacks to the packaging system; the ejection means comprise at least one ejection device with two or more pushing members inserted between a wheel and the other; article stop means are adjustable in a direction that is substantially tangential with respect to the separating wheel, and orthogonal with an ejection direction.

Abstract: A feeding unit from reels of sheet-like material , in particular but not exclusively printed plastic film with print-position marks for automatic packaging machines, comprising two unrolling shafts of respective reels of material for feeding in turn said material towards a unit that cuts and welds the tail of material of a running out reel and the head of a fresh, loaded reel. Such a unit comprising suction, cutting and welding devices (7, 8) movable so as to approach and move away from each other to press the material (F1, F2) over a welding plane. Each device is formed by a group of mutually stacked suction and cutting modules, at least two of such modules having respective guides for slidable in a transversal direction with the respect to the feeding direction of the material, whereby it is possible to select and adjust the number of modules according to a desired welding height.

A device is provided for cyclically varying the feeding speed of the belt conveyers 4, and another device is provided for driving each of the belt conveyers 4 into an alternative rotation of predetermined angular amplitude about an axis 41 parallel to the axis 21 of rotation of the revolver 2.
