Abstract: Novel pressure fixable direct imaging magnetic toners having a core of magnetic material held together with an adhesive resin, a barrier substantially covering the core, an overcoat of thermoplastic strengthening resin, and an outer conductive layer, together with novel processes for producing such toners, these processes comprising dispersion of the core material followed by agglomeration of the several layers in a single aqueous medium.
