Abstract: A robot automatically annotates items by training a semantic segmentation module. The robot includes one or more imaging devices, and a controller comprising machine readable instructions. The machine readable instructions, when executed by one or more processors, cause the controller to capture an image with the one or more imaging devices, identify a target area in the image in response to one or more points on the image designated by a user, obtain depth information for the target area, calculate a center of an item corresponding to the target area based on the depth information, rotate the imaging device based on the center, and capture an image of the item at a different viewing angle in response to rotating the view of the imaging device.
Abstract: Disclosed are CSI feedback methods and apparatuses in a communication system supporting sidelink communication. An operation method of a first terminal may comprise transmitting CSI request information for requesting transmission of a channel state information (CSI) report to a second terminal; receiving a CSI report #1 for a sidelink between the first terminal and the second terminal from the second terminal through a sidelink channel; and transmitting one or more CSI reports among the CSI report #1 and a CSI report #2 for a communication link between the first terminal and a base station to the base station through an uplink channel. Therefore, the performance of the communication system can be improved.

Abstract: A weight training method, a weight training apparatus and a weight training system are provided. In the method, a weight of a load of a user operating the weight training apparatus is detected by a load sensor, a motion of the load is detected by an activity sensor, and thereby an operation power of the weight training apparatus is calculated. A force applied by the muscle portion when the user operates the weight training apparatus is detected by at least one biophysical quantity sensor disposed on at least one muscle portion of the user and used to calculate an energy power consumed by the user. An exercise efficiency value of the user is calculated by using the energy power and the operation power, and the user is prompted to adjust an operation performed on the weight training apparatus when the exercise efficiency value drops beyond a preset ratio.

Dynamic format conversion information may include information about a plurality of format conversion schemes that are used to convert a first format set by a writer of multichannel audio data into a second format that is based on a playback environment of the multichannel audio data and that are set for each of playback periods of the multichannel audio data. The multichannel audio data playback apparatus may identify the dynamic format conversion information from the audio metadata, may convert the first format of the multichannel audio data into the second format based on the identified dynamic format conversion information, and may play back the multichannel audio data with the second format.

Abstract: An embodiment takes the form of a method carried out by a task-execution device. The task-execution device applies a first local-model update to a local model of the task-execution device. The first local-model update is applied based on a first global-model update to a global model of a global-model repository. The task-execution device generates an execution policy based on (i) a received task request identifying a requested task and (ii) the local model including the first local-model update. The task-execution device executes a performance of the requested task based on the generated execution policy, and obtains an observation of the performance of the requested task. Additionally, the task-execution device applies a second local-model update to the local model based on the obtained observation of the performance of the requested task, and provides the global-model repository with an indication of the second local-model update.
Abstract: A method of preparing a thermoplastic composition is provided. The method includes the following steps. A polyetherimide or a polyphenylene sulfide is provided. A polyimide is provided, wherein the glass transition temperature of the polyimide is between 128° C. and 169° C., the 10% thermogravimetric loss temperature of the polyimide is between 490° C. and 534° C., and when the polyimide is dissolved in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone and the solid content of the polyimide is 30 wt %, the viscosity of the polyimide is between 100 cP and 250 cP. A melt process is performed to mix the polyetherimide and the polyimide or mix the polyphenylene sulfide and the polyimide to form a thermoplastic composition. Further, a thermoplastic composition is also provided.
