Abstract: A method of treating fibrosis in a subject in need thereof is provided. The method comprising administering to the subject a polypeptide comprising a propeptide of lysyl oxidase (LOX), the polypeptide being devoid of LOX catalytic activity, thereby treating the fibrosis in the subject, wherein the method does not comprise administration of D-penicillamine. Also provided are polypeptide compositions for use in therapy.
Abstract: As inputs of a controller of a direct current (DC)-DC converter are sampled for a predetermined time and thus two-dimensional state information in which one axis is an input physical quantity and the other axis is a time is generated, the two-dimensional state information is processed by a convolutional neural network to determine and output one of a plurality of control signals. An artificial intelligence control part may operate in accordance with a plurality of operation conditions or dynamically determined operation conditions by applying different artificial intelligence engines according to operation modes.

Abstract: The present invention relates to novel Leuconostoc citreum WiKim0104 isolated from Kimchi and a composition comprising the same or its use. The present invention provides a method for prevention, improvement and treatment of inflammation, obesity or fatty liver disease of a subject by administering the novel Leuconostoc citreum WiKim0104 isolated from Kimchi or a composition comprising thereof. The Leuconostoc citreum WiKim0104 according to the present invention shows an inhibitory effect for fatty liver production by inhibiting fat accumulation in liver cells and reducing expression of fatty liver-related genes, and thus it may be variously utilized for uses in prevention, improvement and treatment of inflammation, obesity or fatty liver disease.
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to the formation, chemistry and application of biologically active compositions. More particularly, the present invention relates to certain dyes, specifically porphyrin and chlorin derivatives, in combination with inventive polymers, i.e. light-cleavable polymers, that can be used as photosensitizer compositions for a wide range of light irradiation treatments such as photodynamic therapy of cancer, infections and other diseases. The dye derivatives may either be adsorbed on, or incorporated in, or attached to specific polymers, which as well form part of the invention.

In the high-speed regenerative comparator circuit of the present disclosure, the transmission delay of the regenerative comparator circuit can be greatly reduced; and in a latch phase, a bias voltage is disconnected by means of timing control, and thus the power consumption of a comparator can be reduced. The present disclosure has simple circuit and high reliability.
