Abstract: An operation method of a terminal performing handover in a mobile communication system may comprise transmitting packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) downlink reception status information of the terminal and information on a target base station to a source base station; receiving downlink data from a user plane function (UPF) via the source base station based on a first tunnel configured between the source base station and the UPF; receiving downlink data from the UPF via the target base station based on a second tunnel configured by the UPF between the target base station and the UPF by using the PDCP downlink reception status information and the information on the target base station, which are transferred from the source base station; and discarding duplicated-received protocol data units (PDUs) from the source base station and the target base station, and reordering remaining PDUs.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a bogie structure for a mountain railway car. The bogie structure is configured as follows: a traction motor for driving an axle of mountain railway car is installed on a car body to simplify the bogie structure and to minimized interference between the traction motor and other components constituting the bogie, and a first and a second bearing are respectively inserted and installed between a first and a second axle and a first and a second wheel, so that a first and a second wheel located in one side close to a turning center are rotated less than a first and a second wheel located in the other side opposite thereof and a traveling distance of the wheels located in the turning-centered side is generated corresponding to a length of a turning-centered side railway, whereby the mountain railway car is improved in traveling stability.
Abstract: A fire extinguishing equipment with improved characteristics which includes a pressure-resistant storage body with an internal space that houses a fire extinguishing composition. A monitoring unit is connected to the storage body to measure and regulate one or more physical characteristics. At least one discharge outlet is in communication with the internal space of the storage body and is configured to discharge the fire-extinguishing composition from the internal space to a use location. A charging inlet is disposed within the storage body and is configured to fill the internal space with the fire-extinguishing composition. An extinguishing-launching part-unit is inserted into a pipe section between the use location and the discharge outlet.

Abstract: A remediation system based on pollution obstruction for underground water with DNAPL pollutant is provided, including a vertical obstructing wall, a pump-out treating unit and a recharging unit, wherein the vertical obstructing wall is distributed at the periphery of a polluted area to obstruct the polluted underground water in the vertical obstructing wall; the pump-out treating unit includes a plurality of water pumping wells and overground treatment facility that are distributed in the polluted area, the plurality of the water pumping wells are configured to pump the polluted underground water out and sending it into the overground treatment facility so as to be treated; the recharging unit includes a plurality of recharging wells, and water treated by the overground treatment facility is recharged into a target aquifer in the polluted area by the plurality of the recharging wells. A remediation method using the system is provided.

Abstract: A test method for an eye tracking algorithm creatively defines indicators for eye tracking algorithm performance test, and proposes a general environment and an overall process for the eye tracking algorithm performance test to realize the versatility of the eye tracking algorithm test, improve the algorithm development efficiency, shorten the development cycle, and provide a direction and reference for the algorithm development and iteration. The test method decouples the performance test of an eye tracking algorithm from development of the eye tracking algorithm itself, so that a test environment is not limited to a specific eye tracking algorithm and a general performance test environment for the eye tracking algorithm is established. The test method includes: defining indicators for the eye tracking algorithm performance test, defining an overall architecture of a performance test environment of the eye tracking algorithm, and proposing steps for performing the eye tracking algorithm performance test.

Abstract: A programmable testing apparatus imposes power interruptions on a storage device at any given point of time under at least one workload according to at least one protocol for tests. The programmable testing apparatus includes a controller unit connected to a workload unit, a power control unit, a protocol control unit and a data buffer unit. The controller unit calculates and receives and replies commands in the tests. The workload unit imposes various workloads on the storage device. The power control unit imposes power interruptions on the storage device under control of the controller unit. The protocol control unit provides commands according to the protocol for tests. The data buffer unit stores critical data and information to check whether data stored in the storage device are correct.

Abstract: Provided is an apparatus and method for encoding/decoding a moving picture based on adaptive scanning. The moving picture apparatus and method can increase a compression rate based on adaptive scanning by performing intra prediction onto blocks of a predetermined size, and scanning coefficients acquired from Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) of a residue signal and quantization differently according to the intra prediction mode. The moving picture encoding apparatus includes: a mode selector for selecting and outputting a prediction mode; a predictor for predicting pixel values of pixels to be encoded of an input video based on the prediction mode to thereby output a residue signal block; a transform/quantization unit for performing DCT onto the residue signal block and quantizing the transformed residue signal block; and an encoder for adaptively scanning and encoding the quantized residue signal block based on the prediction mode.
