Abstract: The present disclosure relates to wheat plants having grain with high ?-glucan content, methods for constructing said wheat plants, grain therefrom and uses thereof. Wheat lines homozygous for the HvCslF6 gene from barley having five times the fiber content and an increased ?-glucan content of TA5790, TA5792, and TA5795 are disclosed.

Abstract: A dual-mode actuation and sensing circuit actuates both modes of an axisymmetric gyroscope and senses both outputs thereof. The sum of the two outputs provides a self-sustaining closed-loop oscillation signal, while the difference of the two mode outputs is used for extracting differential rate information while rejecting the common-mode bias terms of the gyroscope to provide online bias calibration. The proposed system and method facilitates scale factor calibration of an axisymmetric gyroscope. Furthermore, the difference output of the dual-mode gyroscope can provide a mode-split indicator signal which can be used to automatically match the gyroscope modes.

Abstract: Vacuum-integrated photoresist-less methods and apparatuses for forming metal hardmasks can provide sub-30 nm patterning resolution. A metal-containing (e.g., metal salt or organometallic compound) film that is sensitive to a patterning agent is deposited on a semiconductor substrate. The metal-containing film is then patterned directly (i.e., without the use of a photoresist) by exposure to the patterning agent in a vacuum ambient to form the metal mask. For example, the metal-containing film is photosensitive and the patterning is conducted using sub-30 nm wavelength optical lithography, such as EUV lithography.

Abstract: Various methods of reshaping and recycling thermoset polymers and composites containing thermoset polymers are provided. The methods involve the bond exchange reaction of exchangeable covalent bonds in the polymer matrix with a suitable small molecule solvent in the presence of a catalyst. In some aspects, the methods are applied to a carbon fiber reinforced polymer or a thermoset polymer where the thermoset polymer matrix includes a plurality of ester bonds. Using a small molecule alcohol, the methods provide for recycling one or both of the carbon fiber and the polymer, for welding two surfaces, or for repairing a damaged surface in the materials.
Abstract: The present teachings include a process, system and article for forming a printed image on a textile. In some embodiments, the process includes coating the textile with a layer of polydiallyldimethyl ammonium chloride cationic polymer and coating the textile with the layer of polydiallyldimethyl ammonium chloride cationic polymer with a layer of poly-4-styrene sulfonate anionic polymer. The process can further include applying an ink composition to the textile having the layer of polydiallyldimethyl ammonium chloride cationic polymer layer and the layer of poly-4-styrene sulfonate anionic polymer, forming an image.

Abstract: A method of adaptive weighting adjustment positioning has the following steps: performing an initialization procedure, determining whether a first feature point is detected; when the first feature point is detected, based on multiple positioning methods, multiple positioning information will be generated, and multiple weightings will be set, and then based on the weightings and the positioning information, calculating the positioning information output; by way of adaptive weighting adjustment among the multiple positioning methods, the multiple positioning methods can be integrated. In this way, even if one of the positioning methods is temporarily unavailable, the positioning information can still be calculated by weighting adjustment between the positioning information of the remaining two available methods, and that allows users to continue to obtain accurate positioning information to confirm the current location.
Abstract: A bit interleaver, a bit-interleaved coded modulation (BICM) device and a bit interleaving method are disclosed herein. The bit interleaver includes a first memory, a processor, and a second memory. The first memory stores a low-density parity check (LDPC) codeword having a length of 16200 and a code rate of 10/15. The processor generates an interleaved codeword by interleaving the LDPC codeword on a bit group basis. The size of the bit group corresponds to a parallel factor of the LDPC codeword. The second memory provides the interleaved codeword to a modulator for 256-symbol mapping.

Abstract: An active power distribution network multi-time scale coordinated optimization scheduling method and storage medium are provided. The method includes the following steps: performing long-time scale optimization scheduling of an active power distribution network; performing short-time scale rolling optimization scheduling on the basis of MPC of the active power distribution network according to an optimization result of the long-time scale optimization scheduling of the active power distribution network. By using a model prediction control method, taking the long-time scale optimization scheduling result as a reference, and performing short-time scale rolling correction, the optimization scheduling of the active power distribution network is achieved, thereby reducing unfavorable influences of prediction precision of a distributed power supply and a low-voltage load on the optimization scheduling.

Abstract: An imaging system for localization and mapping of a scene including static and dynamic objects. A sensor acquires a sequence of frames in motion or stationary. A memory to store a static map of static objects and an object map of each dynamic object in the scene. The static map includes a set of landmarks, and the object map includes a set of landmarks and a set of segments. A localizer registers keypoints of the frame with landmarks in the static map using frame-based registration and to register some segments in the frame with segments in the object map using a segment-based registration. A mapper to update each object map with keypoints forming each segment and keypoints registered with the corresponding object map according to the segment-based registration, and to update the static map with the remaining keypoints in the frame using the keypoints registered with the static map.
