Abstract: A computer-readable medium comprises data structure for providing information about levels of similarity between pairs of N documents. The data structure comprises a plurality of entries of similarity values representing levels of similarity for a plurality of pairs of the documents. Each of the similarity values represents a level of similarity of one document of a given pair relative to the other document of the given pair. The similarity value of each entry is greater than a threshold similarity value that is greater than zero. The plurality of similarity-value entries are fewer than N2?N in number if the similarity values are asymmetric with regard to document pairing, and the plurality of similarity-value entries are fewer than N 2 - N 2 in number if the similarity values are symmetric with regard to document pairing. A method and apparatus for generating the data structure are described.

Abstract: A system and method of converting a file is disclosed that is based on a first standard to a file that is based on a second standard. The concerned standards can be IEC 61970 and IEC 61850 or their equivalents. For conversion, a file based on IEC 61970 is coded according to CIMXML (RDF Schema), and a file in IEC 61850 is coded according to SCL (XML Schema). The data in each file is modelled by using a UML model for the corresponding standard. The method includes the automatic generation of mapping rules that can be based on the UML models of the two standards and the mappings between the two standards. The method further converts the identified elements by using the generated mapping rules. Finally, post-processing rules can be applied to the converted elements to generate the file, based on the second standard.

Abstract: An apparatus for applying different amounts of pressure to different locations of a backside of a semiconductor device structure during polishing thereof. The apparatus is configured to be associated with a wafer carrier of a polishing apparatus and includes pressurization structures configured to be biased against the backside of the semiconductor device structure during polishing thereof. The pressurization structures are independently movable with respect to one another. The amount of force or pressure applied by each pressurization structure to the backside of the semiconductor device structure is controlled by at least one corresponding actuator. The actuator may magnetically facilitate movement of the corresponding pressurization structure toward or away from the backside of the semiconductor device structure. The actuator may alternatively comprise a positive or negative pressure source.
Abstract: The invention relates to compositions, specifically novel nucleic acid constructs encoding a cardiovirus 2A polypeptide operably linked to suitable promoters. Also, disclosed are methods whereby the nucleic acid constructs are introduced into cells or cell free systems to regulate cellular mRNA transcription and cap-dependent or internal ribosomal entry site (IRES)-dependent mRNA translation.

Abstract: A method for identifying a compound expected to be useful in modulating a LRRK2 protein kinase activity, the method comprising the steps of (1) determining whether a test compound modulates the protein kinase activity of a LRRK2 polypeptide on a substrate Ezrin/Radixin/moesin (ERM) family polypeptide and (2) selecting a compound which modulates the LRRK2 polypeptide protein kinase activity. Such a compound may be useful in treating Parkinson's Disease or Parkinsonism. A catalytically active fragment of LRRK2 is identified, requiring the GTPase, COR and kinase domains as well as the WD_40-like motif and C-terminal tail.
