Abstract: The present invention relates to a random copolymer that is useful to manufacture transparent extruded products comprising: from 75 to 95% by weight of at least a vinyl aromatic monomer; from 0 to 15% by weight of at least an alkyl methacrylate monomer, wherein the alkyl moiety has from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and from 0 to 25% by weight of at least an alkyl acrylate monomer, wherein the alkyl moiety has from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; the random copolymer may be mixed With a diblock or triblock copolymer containing styrene monomers in order to obtain pellets from the mixture that, when being processed by extrusion, does not exhibit the melt fracture phenomenon.
