Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a dispensing device capable of storing and dispensing strips/films. The dispensing device can deliver films of preselected length providing a predetermined medication dose, when required by user making it convenient for user to store, carry and administer the required doses. The dispensing device can allow retrieval and application of strips with minimal manipulation, permitting single-hand operation, thereby maintaining sterility of the strips/films. The dispenser can hold a pharmaceutical or herbal formulation on a suitable delivery material such as a film in roll form or cartridge form. The roll or the cartridge can last for number of doses sufficient for few days thus enabling a user to carry his medicine requirement in a convenient manner. Further, it provides hygienic storage and offers consistent and precise dispensing without user having to touch the thin film strip.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an inhaler for dispensing metered doses of aerosolized medication from an aerosol container that contains a formulation for inhalation by a user, wherein the inhaler comprises one or more processors that are operatively coupled to a memory for monitoring and recording medication dose parameters based on consumption of the medication by the user. Exemplary dose parameters can include any or a combination of timing of dose consumption, size of each dose, frequency of doses, and effectiveness grade of the prescribed dose of medication, wherein the effectiveness grade is determined based on a feedback signal received from the user after the metered dose is consumed, wherein the feedback signal is received by the inhaler from any or a combination interface of the inhaler or from a portable computing device that the inhaler is operatively coupled with.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a drop dispenser device comprising: a liquid reservoir for holding a liquid medicament to be vaporized; a dispensing opening through which the liquid medicament is adapted to pass during a dispensing operation of the dispenser; and a dispensing mechanism configured to generate predetermined droplets of the liquid medicament, and expel the generated droplets through the dispensing opening in a selected liquid amount and at a selected frequency, upon activation of the dispensing mechanism.

An aspect of the present disclosure relates to a method of detecting an event of a content stored in a smart packing device being expired. Another aspect of the present disclosure relates to a method of detecting an event of a content stored in a smart packing device being unfit for ingestion. The packaging device and the methods disclosed herein can find advantageous utility for packaging of pharmaceutical, nutraceutical or cosmetic contents.
