Abstract: A network system for accessing situation related information is disclosed. In one embodiment, the system includes a network connection for receiving an indication of an occurrence of a situation; a situational network formed based on the occurrence of the situation, the situational network including a plurality of participant devices determined to be geographically proximate to the situation, each of the participant devices corresponding to a participant in the situational network; a second network connection for presenting a roll call query to each of the plurality of participant devices soliciting a reply related to a status of the participant; a plurality of network connections established for receiving a status response from the participant devices; and a database for aggregating the status responses from responsive participants into a roll call list.

Abstract: A system and method may be provided for compiling digital images of an individual in a database across a network with multiple user accounts. An image may be uploaded to a computer and stored at an image network storage location. A portrait may be detected in the image. The portrait may include a face. A facial recognition template containing facial recognition parameters related to the individual may be created based on the at least one portrait detected in the at least one image. The facial recognition template may be stored at an identification data network storage location, wherein the facial recognition template is associated with a user account associated with the individual. The facial recognition template may be accessed for comparison of the facial recognition parameters related to the individual with a set of unrecognized facial images. Images containing the set of unrecognized facial images may be accessed.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include a system and set of processes for organizing image collections. The system detects individuals in each image uploaded into the system using facial recognition or similar methods. The user and viewers of the images may then view dynamic albums based on the interrelationships of individuals in images. Users and viewers may browse all images with an individual or see albums of images with two selected individuals or similar combinations based on the relationships between users.

Abstract: A system may include a user monitor device, a supervisory device, and a subscription sub-system. The subscription sub-system may be configured to: obtain a definition of a boundary that includes a radius from a particular location; monitor, by way of global positioning system (GPS) signals, a location of the user monitor device; determine that the user monitor device has crossed the boundary; and in response to determining that the user monitor device has crossed the boundary, transmit an alert to the supervisory device.
