Patent number: 12648768Abstract: A suture anchor system comprising an anchor and an insert, and methods of use are provided. The anchor body has proximal and distal ends, and opposite first and second lateral sides extending between the proximal end and the distal end. A suture passage comprising a proximal surface and a distal surface extends through the anchor body from a first opening in the first lateral side to a second opening in the second lateral side. A channel extends along a longitudinal axis of the anchor body from a proximal opening in the proximal end of the anchor body to a distal opening in the proximal surface of the suture passage. The channel does not extend past the distal surface of the suture passage. The insert is configured to translate longitudinally within the channel between the proximal end of the anchor body and the distal surface of the suture passage.Type: GrantFiled: August 12, 2021Date of Patent: June 9, 2026Assignee: Responsive Arthroscopy, Inc.Inventors: Brian Bowman, Jonathon Gold, Jacob Hustedt, Benjamin Arnold, Douglas Kohrs, Kimberly Bahoora

Patent number: 12648771Abstract: Improved suture anchor systems and methods of use are disclosed herein. The suture anchor may have proximal and distal ends, and first and second lateral sides extending between the proximal end and the distal end. A centrally located suture passage may extend through the anchor body from a first opening in the first lateral side to a second opening in the second lateral side. A channel may extend along a longitudinal axis of the anchor body. The insert may be configured to translate longitudinally within the channel between the proximal end of the anchor body and the distal surface of the suture passage. There may also be provided a surgical broach adapted for use with the suture anchor system.Type: GrantFiled: June 15, 2023Date of Patent: June 9, 2026Assignee: Responsive Arthroscopy, Inc.Inventors: Kimberly Bahoora, Jacob Hustedt, Douglas Kohrs

Patent number: 12490972Abstract: Provided herein are suturing systems, methods of anchoring to a bone, methods for anchoring a soft tissue to a bone, and methods of anchoring a first soft tissue portion to a second soft tissue portion. An exemplary suturing system includes an anchor and a suture inserter device. The anchor includes a plurality of anchor inserts coupled to a portion of the suture between a first end and second end of the anchor. The anchor has an insertion configuration that is substantially linear and a deployed configuration that is at least partially nonlinear. The suture inserter device includes a housing comprising a housing lumen and a housing shaft disposed therein, and an inserter fork coupled to the housing shaft. The housing shaft is axially translatable, and the inserter fork is axially translatable, via the housing shaft, between a distal position and a proximal position.Type: GrantFiled: June 14, 2023Date of Patent: December 9, 2025Assignee: Responsive Arthroscopy, Inc.Inventors: Jacob Hustedt, Kimberly Bahoora

Patent number: 12471902Abstract: Methods and anchor devices for repairing soft tissue with a suture are provided. An anchor device comprises an elongate body having a proximal end, a distal end, and a first lumen extending from the proximal end, the first lumen having at least one face which is sloped relative to the central axis of the elongate body such that the cross-sectional area of the first lumen decreases in the proximal direction. The anchor device also comprises a suture locking wedge movably disposed at least partially within the first lumen.Type: GrantFiled: March 9, 2022Date of Patent: November 18, 2025Assignee: Responsive Arthroscopy, Inc.Inventors: Brian Bowman, Jonathon Gold, Jacob Hustedt
