    Abstract: A method of rendering virtual objects within a real physical space is disclosed. The method includes capturing, by an augmented reality device, spatial information associated with the real physical space; defining, by the augmented reality device, an anchoring point and an anchoring vector for placing a virtual object within the real physical space based on the spatial information; and overlaying, by the augmented reality device, the virtual object on the anchoring point along the anchoring vector, wherein overlaying comprises: matching a predefined point in the virtual object with the coordinates of the anchoring point; and aligning a predefined facet of the virtual object with the anchoring vector.
