    Abstract: A method of recovering oil from an underground accumulation of oil. The method comprises introducing into the top of the accumulation of oil a gas whereby oil is forced from the accumulation to a well. In particular, oil in recesses opening downwardly is forced downwardly by the gas to leave the recess and migrate to the well.
