    Abstract: A coloring method, wherein coloring agent or pigment is injected into active cells of an animal hide before the hide is harvested, and a coloring agent injection device with one or more needles, which are injected into the active cells of the hide of an animal whose hide is to be harvested. The coloring agent becomes fixed in the active cells of the hide, which ingest and spread said coloring agent.
