Abstract: OLED display modules for large-format displays are disclosed. The OLED display module includes a matrix of OLEDs, with each OLED having an anode and a cathode, and an OLED drive circuit having electrical connections defined by rows and columns that electrically connect to the OLEDs in the OLED matrix. Groups of adjacent rows are arranged in parallel and groups of adjacent columns are arranged in parallel, thereby defining super pixels each having an array of four or more OLEDS, wherein the OLEDs in a given super pixel cannot be individually activated. The modules can be combined to form the large-format display.
Abstract: Discrete electronic modules, such as display tiles, designed and configured to be mosaicked and operatively connected with one another and/or to one or more differing types of discrete electronic modules. In some embodiments, the electronic modules include one or more recessed receptacles along their edges that receive corresponding connector biscuits that operatively connect abutting or confronting electronic modules with one another and/or to a controller. In some embodiments, the sizes of the recessed receptacles and connector biscuits are precisely matched so that the biscuits participate in aligning the abutting or confronting display tiles with one another. In some embodiments, the recessed receptacles are provided in recesses in the backsides of the display tiles, which allows each tile to be easily installed and removed from a display mosaic of which the tile is part.

Abstract: Disclosed is a video display module support system containing an attachment plate formed with a first and a second video support member. The attachment plate includes a horizontal attachment assembly and a vertical attachment assembly. The horizontal attachment assembly includes a fixed, video support member attachment portion and a pivotable, member body pivotally attached to the first attachment portion. The pivot member body including a video support member mount having a latch pivotable between open and closed positions. The vertical attachment assembly includes a mounting arm ratchet assembly and a mounting arm movable between a first position secured by a mounting arm ratchet and a second position unsecured by a mounting arm ratchet.
Abstract: A modular projector cage for operably supporting an optical projector and for forming a stacked frame using another identical modular projector cage is disclosed. The modular projector cage has a rectangular hexahedral open frame. A mounting plate is connected to a bottom section of the frame by first and second articulated elevation assemblies connected to respective sides of the mounting plate adjacent the mounting plate front end, and by a yaw assembly rotatably connected to the mounting plate adjacent the back end. The first and second articulated elevation assemblies are independently adjustable to adjust the elevation at each side of the plate so that the pitch and roll of the mounting plate can be adjusted. The yaw assembly adjusts the amount of yaw, which causes articulated movement of the first and second articulated elevation assemblies.
