Abstract: Tamper indicating closure and container assembly which prior opening of the assembly is indicated by exposing projections formed integrally with the closure with such projections remaining concealed in the originally closed position of the assembly. The tamper indicating features are associated with a pouring spout on a gable-top container.

Abstract: A child-resistant closure and dispensing container package in which the measuring cup has a second, exterior annular wall forming threads engageable with threads on the neck of a container and child-resistant lock means at a lower portion of the wall engageable with complementary lock means on the container in a locked position to prevent unthreading of the closure from the container until the annular wall is deflected to move the complementary lock means out of engagement with each other to permit rotation of the closure in an unthreading direction. Also a seal is provided to prevent leakage during unthreading movement of the closure between fully closed and a locked position of the closure.

Abstract: A threaded tamper indicating closure-container package provides an indication of initial opening by how far the closure threads onto the container neck. In the original package condition the bottom of the closure skirt is adjacent a shoulder on the container. After the package has been initially opened and the closure reapplied, the bottom of the closure skirt is noticeably above the container shoulder. A word message such as "opened" can also be exposed on the container neck between the shoulder and the bottom of the closure skirt when the closure is reapplied.

Abstract: A removal resistant closure cap for a container having a standard threaded neck is disclosed. The cap does not have a thread complementary to the container neck thread but has an inwardly projecting circumferential bead with an intersecting projection extending downwardly from the bead at the helix angle of the container neck thread. When the container neck is engaged by the cap with a threading rotation, the cap projection will engage the container neck thread, and the cap bead will snap over the container neck thread, permanently retaining in the cap on the container neck.

Abstract: A threaded closure is provided for engaging a threaded container neck. The closure has a dual sealing plug which provides a primary continuous rotary seal and a secondary self centering seal with the inside surface of the container neck.
