Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing a Sohporae Fructus extract containing isoflavone. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for preparing a Sohporae Fructus extract containing isoflavone in high concentration, which is characterized by the steps of hydrothermal extraction, enzyme treatment and ethanol extraction of Sophorae Fructus. A Sophorae Fructus extract containing a high concentration of aglycon-type isoflavone having an excellent bio-absorbability can be prepared by the method of the present invention.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a food composition for stimulating growth, comprising a fraction isolated from whey derived from mammalian colostrum or milk. More particularly, the present invention relates to a food composition for stimulating growth, comprising a fraction isolated from mammalian whey, wherein the fraction was removed ?-lactoalbumin and ?-lactoglobulin from the whey and had a molecular weight of 1-30 kD, as well as a method for stimulating growth, which comprises administering the food composition to mammals in need thereof, and a use of the isolated fraction for preparing the growth-stimulating food composition.
