At least one movable engagement member is movably disposed in the through hole of the mounting block. A locking member having two spaced locking blocks mounts onto the mounting block. Each of the locking blocks has a retaining wall portion for engaging the at least one movable engagement member and forcing the at least one movable engagement member to be held in the locating hole of the spreader.

Thereby the saw blade is moved with the saw blade holder, and the following member is pivoted with the saw blade holder by the pivot shaft to result in movement of the index zone when the saw blade holder pivots, so that the displacement of the index zone corresponds to the movement of the saw blade.

Abstract: A control device for driving a regulating motor driven by direct current (DC) includes a changeover mechanism having a first normally closed (NC) switch, a second NC switch, a first normally open (NO) switch, and a second NO switch, a power-supply module for providing DC for the regulating motor, a first operating switch for driving the regulating motor to rotate in a first direction while the two NC switches become open circuit and the two NO switches become short-circuit resulting from that the first operating switch is short-circuit, and a second operating switch for driving the regulating motor to rotate in a second direction opposite to the first direction. In light of these, the control device can control the rotational direction of the regulating motor by means of simple circuitry.

Abstract: The present invention is a display device having a control circuit, a position detector, a converting circuit and a display circuit. The control circuit is provided for computing and processing data. The position detector is mounted on a woodworking machine and connects with the control circuit for detecting a position of a blade of the woodworking machine and transmitting signals to the control circuit. The converting circuit is coupled with the control circuit for receiving and converting the signals from the position detector into digital signals. The control circuit computes frequency variation of the digital signals from said converting circuit and based on a relation to convert the digital signals to a position information. The display circuit connects with the control circuit for showing the position information.

Abstract: A transmission-controlling device includes a first circuit system, a second circuit system, and a selective switch. The first circuit system is to provide a first voltage. The second circuit system is to provide a second voltage. The selective switch responds to a user's operation to select the first or second voltage to drive the motor so as to change the rotational speed of the motor. The motor is adapted to a power tool and rotates a cutting blade of said power tool to process a workpiece. Thus, the present invention employs the selective switch to select the driving voltage for the motor to simplify and facilitate the switchover of the rotational speed of the motor.

Abstract: A powered compound miter saw that can perform miter and bevel cuts and which is adapted so that the saw blade can be moved to provide a wide cut. In particular, the compound miter saw employs a sliding mechanism that provides consistent cutting performance as the saw blade is moved from a fully retracted to a fully extended position even when the saw blade is making a severe bevel cut. The sliding mechanism employs three slide bars which have the saw blade mounted on one end thereof and which can laterally move within a housing. The slide bars are configured in a triangular arrangement and are supported within the housing by a combination of linear ball bearings and a plastic bushing.
