Abstract: A method for the preparation of a beverage by mixing water and at least one powdered product in a mixing chamber (1) and dispensing the mixture to a final container (5) provides for the preparation and delivery of at least a first portion of beverage by mixing a first soluble product with water, in the absence of mechanical stirring and for the preparation and delivery of at least a second portion of beverage by mixing a second soluble product with water in the presence of mechanical stirring and for the possible delivery of further portions of beverage to the final container (5).
Abstract: Controlling and adjusting of the operation of a device actuated by an electric motor are carried out by shutting down the electric power supply of said electric motor at a plurality of time intervals during the motor operation, measuring in the time interval the voltage supplied by the electric motor, comparing the value of the measured voltage with a reference value and, if required on the basis of said comparison, varying at least one parameter related to the functioning of the device in order to compensate possible deviations.
Abstract: The inventive device comprises telecommunications means (18, 19) interacting with a network for data exchange and a user interface (2, 3) interacting with said telecommunications means for displaying information extracted from received data, wherein telecommunications means is arranged for receiving meteorological data from which a display for the user interface is extracted. Telecommunications means (18, 19) is connected for spontaneously interacting with a station (20) for defining a geographic area and for accessing, in a substentially uniform manner (21), to a data set containing forecast pluvial/duration pairs which are valid for said geographic area for consecutive periods, said data set being dated by a time marker. The user interface (2) is provided with a range of ordinate display segments (5A, 5E) each of which is provided with several display states.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for supplying liquids comprising heating elements (3) heating up said liquids and an electric drive pumping group (101). The characteristic is that the pumping group (101) comprises an intake (102) and at least a first and second intake duct (8a-8h, 8c-8d, 8e-8f), and is further equipped with an impeller (11a, . . . 11c), said first and second intake duct (8a-8b, 8c-8d, 8e-8f) being selectively activated according to the direction of rotation of said impeller (11a, . . . , 11c) of the pumping group (4a, . . . , 4c).
Abstract: Automatic rain gauges (P00-P0n) are employed within the area of terrain (ZT). A meteorological radar (R1) provides, with a given radar periodicity, a radar image representing rain-bearing cells of concern to the area of terrain. By analyzing the succession of radar images, the main rain-bearing cells are tracked dynamically by their shape and motion. Then a radar rainfall measurement chart is compiled by accumulating, in each pixel of the area of terrain, the precipitations due, during a second chosen time interval, to these main rain-bearing cells, with interpolation of their shapes and positions. At least one sub-array (PA, PB) of four rain gauges separated from one another by about 2 to 4 kilometers and affected by at least one main rain-bearing cell is selected. Finally, the rainfall measurement chart is corrected at least partially as a function of the relation between the accumulated true rainfall data and those from the said chart at the locations of the rain gauges of the sub-array.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a coffee powder metering device for coffee vending machines which, besides ensuring that all the coffee powder is metered out with no residue left behind, is also easy to manufacture. The metering device comprises in a structure: a tubular main part, an end wall for closing off one end of the the tubular main part and a thrust wall in the tubular main part opposite the end wall. The tubular main part, end wall and thrust wall thus form a compartment for receiving a given quantity of coffee powder, through an inlet in one of the sides, and forcing it out through the end by utilizing the thrust wall. On the wall facing the compartment, the thrust wall is fitted with at least one movable lip held firmly by way of an elastic device against the tubular main part so as to scrape it clean.
