  • Patent number: 3986820
Abstract: An apparatus for preparing multiphase gypsum and particularly wall plaster which has an exactly defined composition comprises a plurality of heating stages including at least one high temperature stage and at least two first and second separate low temperature stages. Heating gases are directed from a combustion chamber first to the high temperature stage and subsequently into each of the lower temperature stages. One of the low temperature stages is employed as a pre-burner and it is fed with materials from a common storage bin to pre-burn the material and then direct it to the high temperature stage. The other stage is provided with the heating gases from the high temperature stage and in addition it is controlled as to temperature, humidity and quantity of heating gases in its products together with the high temperature stage products after treatment are delivered to a common cooling device.

  • Patent number: 3986434
Abstract: A hydraulic swivel drive with two adjusting cylinder-piston systems the connecting rods of which are pivotally connected to a pivotally mounted member to be actuated by the hydraulic swivel drive. The cylinder-piston units are mounted on a base member, e.g. a base plate, which base member is provided with a servo-valve controlling the supply of actuating fluid to the cylinder-piston units which are arranged in V-formation and are hooked up with the pivotally mounted member so as to be symmetrically arranged with regard to the pivot axis of the pivotally mounted member. The cylinder-piston units are directly connected to the base member and their connecting rods are pivotable relative to the axis of their pertaining cylinder.

  • Patent number: 3986432
Abstract: An ammunition magazine with a feeding device in the form of two pivotal arms for a weapon which is laterally adjustable and adjustable as to height. The magazine comprises two sections symmetrically connected to the weapon from which the feeding device grasps ammunition and moves the same to a charging position in which the ammunition is aligned with the bore of the barrel. Each of the two magazine sections has associated therewith one of the two pivotal arms which by power-operable means are so actuated that while either one moves ammunition from one ammunition magazine section into alignment with the barrel, the respective other pivotal arm moves to the respective pertaining magazine section for picking up ammunition.
