    Abstract: The present invention relates to a process and a device for the preparation of fine and uniform dispersions of a divided product in a liquid. A powder and a liquid are fed at a constant flow rate into the device at separate points, and are instantaneously and independently brought up to speed and then brought into contact with each other in a dynamic manner. The process is carried out by means of a turbine composed of at least two non-continuous parts which do not allow the products to return to the center of the turbine, two separate pipes, namely a feed pipe for the powder and a feed pipe for the liquid, and a discharge pipe for the dispersion. The invention applies particularly to liquids possessing a high solvating power with respect to the powders with which they are to be mixed.

The synthetic polymer is based on polyamide or polyester, or is an aromatic polyamide or a polyamide-imide. Processes for the manufacture of these textiles and textile articles with permanent conducting properties, such as floor/wall coverings, containing between 0.01 and 5% of the treated textiles, are also disclosed.

    Abstract: The yarn is formed into a loop and a loop sensor monitors the variations in length in the loop of yarn. The variations in the size of the loop result from a difference in the speed between the speed of the yarn and the speed of the draw-off or delivery member. The draw-off or delivery member is driven by an asynchronous motor having a slip-clutch drive with an assembly for braking in response to eddy currents. In particular, a disc is connected to the motor and a magnetic field is applied to the disc, the magnitude of the field which is applied to the disc directly dependent upon the size of the loop. In the preferred embodiment, the regulation of the speed of a pilot roller of a winder as a function of the delivery speed of the yarn is accomplished.
