Abstract: A stopper device for a bottle having a neck provided with an outside bead at its free end and intended for use with a water fountain type liquid dispenser comprises a plastics material capsule having an end wall from which project in the same direction a substantially cylindrical outer skirt which has an inside bead which hooks behind the outside bead on the neck of the bottle and a substantially cylindrical inner chimney to receive a dispenser tube on the dispenser which nests in the chimney from the side of the end wall of the capsule when the bottle is fitted to the dispenser. The capsule further comprises a tamperproofing closure which closes off the chimney so that it is irrevocably and visibly destroyed upon nesting of the dispenser tube in the chimney and can comprise a diaphragm made up of a plurality of petals connected together by tear lines.

A tamper-proof strip defines a first axial position and snap means define a second axial position for the moveable part relative to the fixed part.

Abstract: A tamperproof cap with pourer for closing the neck of a container having an exterior attachment flange includes a fixing ring with an interior bead for attachment to the exterior flange on the neck of the container, a stopper hinged to the ring, and a tear-off tamperproof strip joining the stopper to the ring until the stopper is opened for the first time. The fixing ring, the stopper and the tamperproof strip are molded in one piece from plastics material. A pourer member is fitted into cap and fits to the neck of the container when the cap is fitted to the neck so that the hinged stopper co-operates with the pourer spout of the pourer member.

Abstract: Leaktight screw cap composed of two cup-shaped shells rendered integral by fitting one into the other, the lowest shell being made from a flexible plastic having a female thread and a sealing device and the outer shell being made from a hard plastic. A disk made from a material having a gas-barrier effect is inserted between the bottoms of the outer shell of the inner shell. This screw cap is especially applicable to beverages and other products that are sensitive to gas exchanges with the outside.

Abstract: A rupturable stopper for a pouring spout for a receptacle includes a base having a pouring zone sealed closed by a cover connected to the base by frangible connection. The spout includes a tubular neck having internal screw threads connected to the base so as to surround the frangible connection and terminating at a pouring lip. A cylindrical appendage extending up from the cover lies concentrically within the neck and receives a closure cap thereon that includes screw threads engageable with the neck and a seal that engages a spout pouring lip when the cap is engaged with the spout neck. Interlocking elements between the cap and the appendage prevent reverse rotation of the cap relative to the appendage so that, once the cap is secured in place within the neck by the screw threads, the first attempt to remove the cap drives the appendage in a twisting and axial movement to cause rupture of the frangible connection to open the pouring zone of the base.

Abstract: A tamper-indicating screw-on closure cap for receptacles having threaded necks includes a tamper-indicating security band in the form of a ring including a stop strip turned inwardly of the ring and inclined in an inward and upward direction so that, upon first assembly of the cap to a receptacle neck the stop strip engages beneath a peripheral projection on the neck. The stop strip includes a continuous upper edge lying in an imaginary stop plane extending perpendicular to the axial direction of the cap and spaced zones of lesser thickness that define a plurality of sectors that also include an inwardly projecting chordwise rib terminating at an inner edge that subtends each respective sector, wherein the edges of the ribs together define a polygonal section of passage the inscribed circle of which presents a diameter smaller than that of the peripheral projection of the neck.

Abstract: A closure cap made of moulded plastics material for closing necked containers is disclosed. The cap includes a tamper-proof ring formed from a belt and a folded band, the belt having a local overthickness presenting an angular area corresponding to that separating two successive interruptions of the folded band. The invention is more particularly applicable to so-called "pigtail" caps.

Abstract: A spout and sealing cap assembly for a container which includes a spout which is connectable to the container, a sealing cap for closing off a dispensing opening in the spout and a bi-stable hinge integrally formed with the sealing cap. The bi-stable hinge maintains the cap only in one of two stable positions, an open position and a closed position. The spout is formed as a first one-piece plastic part with an undercut profile connection portion. The sealing cap is also formed as a second one-piece plastic part with an undercut profile connection portion spaced from the bi-stable hinge. The plastic of the spout is a formed of a more flexible plastic than that of the sealing cap. The bi-stable hinge is formed integrally with the sealing cap and, thus, also is formed of the relatively rigid, hard plastic.

Abstract: A spout and sealing cap assembly for a container which contains a product such as a liquid or pasty product. The container includes a nick closed off by a lid that must be pierced for dispensing the product. The assembly includes a spout with a body that is fixed to the neck. The spout also includes a hollow piercing and dispensing element provided with sharp edges designed to pierce the lid. The element is suspended inside the body by a deformable annular bulged membrane which enables the piercing element to assume an upper position and a lower position wherein the sharp edges extend below the ruptured lid. The spout body is covered by a sealing cap which assumes either an open or a closed position. The cap includes a sealing member extending of a top section of the cap. When the cap is closed, the sealing member is designed for insertion in sealing fashion within the hollow element or in a fitting and sealing relationship about the hollow element both when the element is in the upper and the lower position.

Abstract: Pourer and stopper cap assembly comprising a guarantee strip (23) produced in a single piece with the pourer (1). The guarantee strip (23) extends from the pourer (1) over the entire height of the cap (2) and, at its free upper end, has a turned-in portion (29) which covers the outer upper edge of the cap (2).The invention is used for the packaging of liquids, especially for long-term storage.

This cap facilitates fitting upon bottle necks having substantial differences in neck thicknesses, and is particularly applicable to pouring caps having an easily removable sealing membrane therein, which membrane is removed prior to pouring contents from a bottle.

Abstract: This is a combination pouring spout and closure cap which straddles the same. The closure cap has two annular dependent spaced skirts. The inner of these skirts fits tightly the inner space of the pouring spout and is held in position by coaction of circumferentially spaced helicoidal ridges on the inner face of the outer skirt with an interrupted ridge on the outer face of the pouring spout.
