Abstract: An creator of a page image inputs display-image specifications including specifications of display information containing positions, shapes, and display order of node-display areas (NW1, NW2) in the page image, and selection of at least one layer of the plurality of layers so that when displaying the page image (PIM), the transitions between images intended by the creator occur, for example, as created by the movement of readers' eyes when they read a cartoon on paper, and display-image-control information with respect to the page image is created based on the display-image specifications. Therefore, images with stage effects intended by the creator can be provided for readers by displaying the images according to the display-image-control information created in the above way.
