    Abstract: This invention relates to a synergistic composition made of a herbicidally effective amount of a propanil-based product, such as SUPER WHAM® and the at least one ACCase inhibitor herbicide such as CLINCHER® in an amount sufficient to facilitate the herbicidal activity of the propanil-based herbicide. It has been found that this synergistic composition, when applied to a field of rice, allows a reduction in the amount of herbicide needed, greater flexibility in timing of the application and broad spectrum of weed control.
