Abstract: An article for framing a visual work includes a framing member, the rear surface of which has first and second adhesive portions. A transparent sheet adheres to the first portion and a bifurcated cling film adheres to the second adhesive portion. A pocket is formed between the sheet and the film for receiving the visual work. A method for making an article for framing a visual work includes providing a framing member having a rear surface and adhering a transparent sheet on the first adhesive portion of such surface. A cling film is mounted on a second adhesive portion of the rear surface and in a manner such that the cling film overlays the transparent sheet. The cling film is bifurcated by slitting it, thereby providing an access slot for inserting the visual work between the sheet and the film.

Abstract: A tray for storing a container housing a film cartridge used in the Advanced Photo System is disclosed. The container has a rectangular, flat card member with a box-like blister member attached thereto for holding the film cartridge. The tray has a pair of retention members configured as a pair of parallel guide slots for sliding engagement with the container edges. A barrier at one end of the tray limits sliding movement of such container with respect to the tray. A new storage chest for holding multiple containers and a new method for making a tray are also disclosed.

Such packet has first and second sheet-like cover members disposed in spaced, substantially parallel planes. Each member has a spine-adjacent edge and a sheet-like spine interconnecting the cover members along such edges. A plurality of sheet-like photos is between the cover members and is removably/replaceably secured to the spine by adhesive. There is a structural element against the second cover member for securing the photo cartridge associated with the photos. The packet has a fold-over flap which aids cartridge retention.

Abstract: An apparatus for storing and protecting in a coordinated manner developed film and printed photographs, particularly those associated with the Advanced Photo System ("APS"). Such apparatus is comprised of a sheet-like article configured for binding at one end having an opposing free edge, a first and second surface, and opposing first and second free edges perpendicular to the binding edge. A transverse crease extends along the article defining a flap that is used to secure the film container. A print storage device and film container are attached to the article in such a manner as to allow the flap to fold back over the container thereby securing the it by allowing the container to fit through a hole in the flap while the flap adheres to the sheet-like article.

Abstract: A photo/photo cartridge delivery/storage packet for the products of Advanced Photo Systems (APS) processing, comprising a first and second sheet-like cover members disposed in spaced, substantially parallel planes and each having a spine-adjacent edge, a sheet-like spine interconnecting the cover members along said spine-adjacent edges, a plurality of sheet-like photos interposed between the cover members and removably/replaceably secured to the spine by adhesive, and a means on the second cover member for securing thereto the APS photo cartridge associated with said photos. In the most preferred embodiment, the free edge of the second cover member of the packet extends past the free edge of the first cover member thereby forming a cover extension. The APS photo cartridge can be secured to either surface of the second cover member in a variety of ways that allow the cartridge to remain on the cover or be removed for storage elsewhere while the cover extension is used as a locking flap.
