Abstract: A computer-implemented method for matching transportation providers with transportation requesters includes receiving, from a requester computing device, a transportation request to transport a ride requester and the trusted transportation provider being an individual who has an established verified relationship with the ride requester and retrieving computing device transmission parameters for one or more trusted transportation providers from a database on a computing device. The computer-implemented includes communicating the transportation request based, at least in part, on the retrieved computing device transmission parameters and receiving, from the one or more trusted provider computing devices, one or more acceptances of the transportation request.
