The system is configured such that the at least one thruster propels the person through the water while the power source remains at a surface of the water and coupled to the flotation device. The system can include an air supply assembly.

The support assembly (14) includes wheels (26, 37) for providing movement for the entire unit in either the transport position or the storage position.
