  • Patent number: 10029490
Abstract: Paper has a detection pattern having a length in a main scanning direction, the length becoming shorter from upstream to downstream along a paper feeding direction. An image sensor detects the detection pattern and outputs a detection signal including data in the main scanning direction (length y). A control unit calculates a position of a vertex of the detection pattern, by using the detection signal, a feeding speed, an angle being half of the vertex angle of the pattern, and an imaging time, so as to correct an image forming position on the back side to coincide with an image on the front side. The detection signal from the sensor with a low operation speed is processed according to a method utilizing a shape feature and the like of the detection pattern, thereby precisely detecting the position of the paper in the feeding direction.

  • Publication number: 20180173480
Abstract: A printing control machine includes an obtaining section, a determination section, and a printing control section. The obtaining section obtains from each of a plurality of printing machines, ink information regarding an ink mounted to the each printing machine. The determination section determines whether or not each of the plurality of printing machines is within a similarity condition range on the basis of the ink information obtained by the obtaining section. The printing control section allocates a printing job to printing machines determined to be within the similarity condition range to make the determined printing machines perform printing.

  • Publication number: 20180141331
Abstract: An image forming device includes an inkjet head unit, a count acquiring section, a determining section, and a head controlling section. The inkjet head unit includes an element. The count acquiring section acquires, based on job data, an element operation count of the element. The determining section determines whether the element operation count is equal to or greater than a warning threshold count that is smaller by a predetermined count than a life threshold count corresponding to a life end point of the element. The head controlling section controls, when the element operation count is equal to or greater than the warning threshold count, the inkjet head unit to form an image by suppressing the element operation count.
